- Dr Quinn Medicine Woman (1993-1998)
Cast of the Dr Quinn then and now in 2020.
The trials and adventures of a female doctor in a wild west town. Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman brought the drama every saturday night during the 90s, and it was a pretty universal hit too, with episodes airing in over a hundred countries for six seasons! And there is talk about a possible reboot, but we’ll get to that. Dr. Quinn tugged on our heartstrings, and brought laughter, anger, excitement and often tears, while remaining a family friendly hit. And much of the credit goes to Dr. Quinn, aka Jane Seymour and the rest of the cast. So what did they get into after leaving the rugged Colorado Springs?
I’m your host, Nostalgic Nick, here to provide the latest updates on the Dr. Quinn cast. If you enjoy going back to 1867 with us, please give this video a prairie thumbs up, and I prescribe, that you subscribe, to our channel, that way you never miss a premiere. Alright, let’s giddy up.

I watched Dr. Quinn every Saturday night with my mom. I had a crush on Sully (actor Joe Lando) Thought he was so rugged and handsome. What a wonderful western it was.
Hello, Diane! How are you doing? I hope you are fine and staying safe?
I literally watch Dr Quinn every single morning on STARTTv and I'm not really sure how I could even start my day without it. Even when the signal messes up, I have saved episodes on Philo thank goodness! It strikes that warm and fuzzy feeling inside, back when people were more wholesome. ❤️
Same Here!!! I need to get the series recorded, good idea as the show is as relevant now as it was then!
Do yourself a favor and get the DVDs or watch it on Amazon Prime. You'll be amazed at the scenes you never saw before that are cut from the TV versions for commercials.
Makes ya feel good! Best town ever!
❤ Dr Quinn medicine woman is my favorite show on TV!! Sully reminds me of my daughter's daddy Rip jk my x husband..love Jane Seymour 😘
I agree with you ❤
My mum and I just finished all 6 seasons and both movies. Love this show much. ❤
I Wish They Would Bring Back More Shows Like This

Me too. I miss watching shows like this!!!
@@kimberlyvandine5616 Hello, Kimberly! How are you doing? I hope you are fine and staying safe?
My most favorite tv series ever!!!
I'm Italian, and this series was BIG in Italy in the 90s. In Italian it's titled "La Signora del West" ("The Lady of the West").
I remember my dad complaining because "No way the doctor's little sister can be interested in Loren, the age gap is too big!"... while the two actors were married in real life! (with an age gap of almost 23 years)
I think michaela was the youngest of 5 sisters.
Hello, Alice! How are you doing? I hope you are fine and staying safe?
@@anneheimburger3186 I think she was too.
I loved this Show.My favorite character was Cloud Dancing.
Mine was Hank. Lol 😆
What did Larry Sellers do after Dr. Quinn? Such an excellent human being!
My crush was when John Schneider joined the cast !
Oh yes😊
Superman's father
Joe Lando is always a crush in the waiting. I loved the episode of their wedding night, never being kissed or touched by a man in that way, you could the young girl fright on a grown woman. We need more movies like this.
Hi Wendie
Hello, Wendie! How are you doing? I hope you are fine and staying safe?
seeing the age of the kids on this show reminds me just how long ago the nineties were. the years just flew by.
Hello, Karen! How are you doing? I hope you are fine and staying safe?

Hello, Lindy! How are you doing? I hope you are fine and staying safe?
Cloud Dancing is and will forever be my favorite television character!
Loved cloud dancing
Cloud Dancing was a great leader, he was wise & tried to be fair to everyone.
Mine too. Larry Sellers.
About ten years ago, my husband and I visited Sequoia National Park, and I talked him into going on a horseback ride there. Before I got on my horse, I looked him in the eye, put my hands on each side of his face, and said, "Thank you for the gift you're going to give me." Sound familiar? I'm sure my husband thought I was nuts. LOL
Oh I.m watching a rerun of a rerun of a rerun etc but Cloud Dancing it is! But Hank and Sully aren,t that bad😋
I loved Dr. Quinn! The rabies episode, the one where Jane's real life husband played a thief and kidnapper, the one where the women climb the mountain, ...so many favorites.
Hi beautiful
Poor sweet Ingrid! I dread that episode, it's so heartbreaking. Also when the Cheyenne are killed by Custer. What a show.
One of my favourite shows of the nineties, still watch it, when it's on repeats, in Sydney Australia.
Me too! I wasn’t happy when 10Peach took it off.

I watch them today. I love this show and cloud dancing is one of my favorites. However they all touch your heart in one way or another.
I'm watching it now on Amazon and I told my daughter boy I wish they made men like Byron Sully in real life.
I absolutely love this series.
I watch the reruns of Dr Quinn on STARTTV (AirTV) every morning 🌄 .. still love it!!
Lando was the reason I watched. Lol
HANK 😍😘💋 WHY I

Jane Seymour is so beautiful.
Hello, Teresa! How are you doing? I hope you are fine and staying safe?
This is still one of my favorite shows EVER! IMO, this was the last great family drama to air on network TV. I'm thankful to still be able to watch it on cable TV reruns!
I just finished watching the entire six seasons with a couple of friends, several episodes every Friday night. We used the pandemic as an excuse because we're all single (I'm a widow), but we would have done so without the pandemic, too. They still say it saved their lives because the stay-at-home order was incredibly lonely for a lot of us, and we got to be really good friends. We have the two movies to watch next. Then we're going on to _Roots_ (we love Regé-Jean Page) and then _Starman,_ both the movie and the one TV season, and then _West Wing,_ which two of us have never seen before. Oh, we started out watching all five seasons of _Poldark_ before the pandemic. Aidan Turner, yum! :)
My fav is when Sally felt awkward expressing his love to Dr Quin, when they had to be alone in the mountain 😆 he was brushing her hair, sleeping outside in the rain, and Dr Quin invited hm in....so romantic 💘 🤔😇💜💯👍😄
I loved this show!
the episode sully accepted he was in love with doc mike..."she's my heartsong"
Hello, Marianne! How are you doing? I hope you are fine and staying safe?
I loved this show. I was a nurse working evenings in the 90s so i would tape it on my VCR to watch when I got home. The writing and story lines were relevant to modern times and I liked Jane Seymore's and Landos chemistry. I have to admit that I never really warmed up to Collen #2 she did a great job in the roll I was just more a fan of the first Colleen. Was really bummed when it got cancelled.
also really liked that the cast was so diverse.
One of favorite shows ever. Still watch it in syndication.

@@MrSPHANDLE It's on Amazon Prime, and you'll actually see the episodes without the cuts Hallmark has or any other TV stations that air it. They have to fit in their commercials after all. I have the entire set on DVD. It's well worth it. It's not something I'll ever get really tired of. I don't watch it all the time, but friends have been interested, so we've gone through all six seasons twice now since I first got them. I watched DQMW in a rerun on a Christian station years ago and was shocked at the cuts they made, blanking out every little swear word and even at least one Indian healing ceremony. SO annoying!
Wow, 70 years old and Jane is still a pretty lady
When Dr Quinn got shot and Hank trying to save her life, and yes I had the biggest crush on Hank, what can I say I like the bad boys.

I just bought the complete series and movies. Jane will be 70 in a few months. Beautiful as ever
Jane is already 70. Her birthday was in February. I bought the set too, well worth the money.
I grew up watching this show here in New Zealand.
I'm enjoying the re-runs of it now in New Zealand. My favourite character is still Cloud Dancing portrayed by Larry Sellers. Unfortunately he wasn't included in this upload!
I had the BIGGEST crush on bad boy saloon owner Hank Lawson. I wish William Shockley did more movies after the show.

One of my Favorite Shows. My Favorite show was when Dr Quinn & Sully got Married. My Favorite Characters were Brian, Cloud Dancing, Robert E. & Hank. I hated the shows when they were Treating the Indians Badly. What happened to Barbara Babcock? Is she still Living? What about Stories on the rest of the Cast?
Apparently, she's still alive! She's around 84 now. OMG....
I was so touched and saddened when snowbird was killed.
Hello, Ruth! How are you doing? I hope you are fine and staying safe?
Still one of my all time favorite shows that I rewatch on DVD. I had a crush on the other doctor Andrew Cook. Lol My favorite episode is probably the one where the baseball team comes and the townsfolk play against them because it was hilarious!
And the one where they go to Boston and Sully has to go after her. 😁
I'll never forget Cloud Dancing's stealing those bases! LOL

Awesome love This show.
Dr Quinn & our own Man from Snowy River were my *favourite* shows!
I remember seeing Joe Lando in the recurring role as Mac’s ex-husband in ‘JAG’...
Loved the show since then.❤️❤️❤️
The episode when Brian went blind really touched me.
Loved Sully! Yum. I am 78, and still remember him Sigh.
Such great memories. I loved this show 💘
The show was very good.👍 But then again I'm a little bias, with the female lead being the "Iconic" beauty of Miss Seymour No production could possibly lose. But if people in general are not aware she is an incredible artist extremely talented and I am very fortunate to have several of her pieces. She is simply a very gifted Actor, a true beauty and gifted artist. And most of all but not least an incredibly gracious lady.🥇
I have the series on dvd. It is one of my most favorite series to watch. I also a 2 movie collection of Dr. QUINN, MEDICINE WOMAN. Which are also good movies.
I have always wanted to watch the movies that they made after the series and can't find them anywhere.

Hi Wendie
The show comes on here every morning at 6 a.m. for two back-to-back episodes and I get up every morning to watch that no matter how tired I am and that's how I start by day! What a wonderful series and it's too bad that had to all come to an end like most things in life! But there was something wonderful about the INSIGHT of CLOUD-DANCING ( I believe that he just passed away 😢 RIP 🙏 GREAT ACTOR! His wife Snowbird was a lead in Dances with Wolves years later! ) that I always think about! Cheers! I just subscribed! Great job! ❤💯🙏 A'HO
I names my daughter after her character.... Mckayla became a services tech and mommy of two boys. So thankful for the example her character michaela set for young women of the 90’s

Absolutely Loved the series! Clean, wholesome with lots of wisdom/advice and real life. It’s a breath of fresh air and I still watch it on a regular basis. The love between Dr Mike & Sulley is so romantic and true. Wish there were more shows like this. I miss this kind of tv.
I enjoyed the whole run of Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman, but for some reason the episode called Halloween (Season 2 Ep. 3) comes to mind every now and then.
What about Grace and Robert E? I can't believe they left out the ONLY two black people on the show.
I agree, they were great!!!!! 🐩🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Loved them both!
@@user-np7pq2gy1v Me too. I love when they got married ❤️
Erika Flores will forever be Colleen Cooper Quinn💐❤
I preferred Erika Flores portrayal of Colleen as well the plots that her character tackled required much emotion and Erika Flores could pull it off very well. That said, I recall an episode that required more emotion from Jessica Bomans portrayal of Colleen, however, in my opinion she just didn’t deliver the emotion required for the plot of the episode. The episode I’m referring to happened just after the change between Erika and Jessica. It took me a long time to warm up to Jessica Bomans portrayal of Colleen, to this day I can’t watch that episode without cringing.
I remember Jane Seymour in Crossings mini series she was just sensational! did you know that she is half Dutch (her mother) that her name is actually Joyce Frankenberg
I loved Dr Quinn, great video thanks 💖😁

@@prestonsmith9824 I am very thank you and I am staying safe💖😁
The writing included some interesting medical info that no other show bothered with. The story lines dealing with rabies and sickle cell anemia were particularly memorable. Michaela always brewed willow bark tea to treat pain. That was a genuine medicine discovered by indigenous people. It contained some elements used in aspirin. I had no idea that Michaela was 11 years older than Sully.
Hello, Nancy! How are you doing? I hope you are fine and staying safe?

It took me a long time to warm up to Jessica Bomans portrayal of Colleen.
I'm sorry, I never did, when the first Colleen quit I think the show wasn't as good, and it didn't help that they changed Colleen in the middle of the series when you were use to Flores playing the part, I kinda think that they should have written Colleen out of the series it would have been better.
@@carriesullivan1786 How would you have done that? Had her die? Please.
I'll never understand why some people are so unforgiving about this. I never watched Dr. Quinn for Colleen. Did you? I had other favorites. And it seemed to me when watching Jessica's first episode, "The End of the World," that she was new and still trying to work out the character but I had no problem with her performance and was pleasantly surprised. @@wendyscott8425 😅😅 Yes, your opinion.
I sometimes have a hard time watching episodes without crying, especially ones like that.
@@lizm5303 I did that a lot the first couple of times through, but then I knew what was going to happen and it didn't hurt so much. I don't watch those sad episodes unless I'm going through the series, which I did with a couple of friends during the pandemic. We got together every Friday night to see three or four episodes. They'd never seen it before. They loved it.
BTW, one of them is a woman doctor! Oh, and she went on a trip to Yellowstone with some friends, and they were being given a tour. The ranger asked them which president signed the order naming it the first national park, and she said, "President Grant!" He was shocked because hardly anyone knows that-unless, that is, they've watched DQMW, and she had *just* seen the very episode where that happened the night before she left! :)
BTW, there's an episode guide that has all the shows in the correct order in case anyone's going through the series. It makes all the difference. It's surprising how out of order a lot of the episodes were, presumably because they got bumped sometimes for specials or games. Let me know if you're interested, and I'll post my email address.
