I lived in Utah and Idaho for thirteen years; except for the murders, there are many people like Chad and Lori who believe that God has given them special revelations. Several men just swore that God had told them that I was their eternal mate, for example, even though we had not dated and I was not a Mormon.

Charles went to M Gibb, he was crying and asking for help. Gibb did not help him even if ehe knew the children was missing. Gibb covered for Lori and is deeply involved.

Most people can't remember exact times of things or what was said. Who would ever think you would need to write down every little thing in case you are asked later. It sounds like she has a normal memory.
All this happened 4 or more years ago and most of it happened long before anyone realized that there seemed to be serial killing involved. Most of these people were dragged in little by little, sort of like they were being "groomed" for the cult. Granted that many of these people seem to be extremely credulous and therefore mighty vulnerable to any snake-oil salesman/woman who wanted to rope them in, and the cult-masters made a real point of flattering their members to the point of absurdity, making these people feel oh-so-special. And that "specialness" is pretty much all they thought they needed to remember. So there wasn't much in the way of dates, time, places that would seem to be worth remembering until all the sick crap fell out. Some people think that Melanie is trying to cover for Lori, but I think that any covering she's doing is for herself'. Melanie came mighty close to being an "Accessory After The Fact" or whatever they call it in Idaho. Lori and Chad suckered her in pretty well.
Melanie was in our massage school, i just happened to see her on RUclips once shared it with a classmate who knew about This crazy story but didn't know she was involved. I dived down the rabbit hole and with small experiences with Melanie at school and watching more videos, i tried to avoid her like the plague and she knew it and it pissed her off haha. Melanie's part in it was obvious from the first RUclips videos prior to trial. MG isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. She was being used and went along with it until she realized Lori was framing her. Melanie had enough snap to cover her tracks and record a phone call with Lori to try to clear herself of actual involvement that is, she was wasn't part of the actual murder or cover up, she just didn't report information prior to that which might've prevented the murders. Melanie obviously understood the red flags with Charles Vallow's death and did nothing.

I loved the cross examination! When Melanie said something incriminating he would pause. I don’t think the jury missed what he was trying to convey to him.
This defense attorney is up against an unwinnable case. There is just no way on this earth that she will be found innocent. There are too many witnesses to her insanity. He can all he wants to discredit the witnesses, but the preponderance of the evidence will win out in the end.

I'm shocked with this cross examination. The attorney should have been more intimate with the questioning especially after in a police interview melanie accidentally said that before charles was murdered he was supposedly going to get into a car accident and " Brandon was going to hide the body" which makes no sense. She miss spoke but the fact that she even mentioned anything about conversation regarding hiding bodies shows her involvement or dishonesty.

This court artist is actually very good, and I’m glad they were chosen. It helps me to visualize some of what is going on with the lack of cameras in the courtroom. It’s also really nice to have audio so we can hear the whole proceedings as they’re happening.
There is a lot she didn't tell the police imo. In the other secretly recorded phone call by Shari Dowdle, Gibb says "they (I assume Lori and Alex) had been planning it (Charles' murder) for months and months and months". Also in the same call, she remembers things VERY clearly because she never suspected it would be made public but when talking to the police or testifying she gets accute Idontrememberitis.
It's hard to believe that this is the same Melanie that testified about Chad. My God it's like she's a different person she's acting like she can't remember anything. Most people can't remember exact times of things or what was said. Who would ever think you would need to write down every little thing in case you are asked later. It sounds like she has a normal memory.
All this happened 4 or more years ago and most of it happened long before anyone realized that there seemed to be serial killing involved. Most of these people were dragged in little by little, sort of like they were being "groomed" for the cult. Granted that many of these people seem to be extremely credulous and therefore mighty vulnerable to any snake-oil salesman/woman who wanted to rope them in, and the cult-masters made a real point of flattering their members to the point of absurdity, making these people feel oh-so-special. And that "specialness" is pretty much all they thought they needed to remember. So there wasn't much in the way of dates, time, places that would seem to be worth remembering until all the sick crap fell out.

Melanie was in our massage school, i just happened to see her on RUclips once shared it with a classmate who knew about This crazy story but didn't know she was involved. I dived down the rabbit hole and with small experiences with Melanie at school and watching more videos, i tried to avoid her like the plague and she knew it and it pissed her off haha. I told a few classmates about it but told everyone once i heard her trying to convert a girl to Mormonism in class. Melanie's part in it was obvious from the first RUclips videos prior to trial. MG isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. She was being used and went along with it until she realized Lori was framing her. Melanie had enough snap to cover her tracks and record a phone call with Lori to try to clear herself of actual involvement that is, she was wasn't part of the actual murder or cover up, she just didn't report information prior to that which might've prevented the murders. Melanie obviously understood the red flags with Charles Vallow's death and did nothing.

I'm shocked with this cross examination. The attorney should have been more intimate with the questioning especially after in a police interview melanie accidentally said that before charles was murdered he was supposedly going to get into a car accident and " Brandon was going to hide the body" which makes no sense. She miss spoke but the fact that she even mentioned anything about conversation regarding hiding bodies shows her involvement or dishonesty.

This court artist is actually very good, and I’m glad they were chosen. It helps me to visualize some of what is going on with the lack of cameras in the courtroom. It’s also really nice to have audio so we can hear the whole proceedings as they’re happening.
