    I have some of these from Beth and I really need to get them put on - I need to buy one of those hand drills 🥰🥰

      Hi Jay, definitely get the neck joint done, it makes such a difference. The little drill made it so much easier too, a definite for any doll tools. Thank you for watching 🥰🧜‍♀️

      @@octopudding325 Thank you, I don’t think I can join in with the mermaid collaboration as I found out about it too late, but I will enjoy doing one at my leisure. Hats off to you using a pin drill to do that neck, I use one size drill bit in an electric drill, it takes seconds, but I suppose you have to be confident, to go straight. I showed my husband Beth’s video and he’s a carpenter, he looked like he was in pain watching me pin drill it, by hand with two size drill bits, and he said do it like this, and so haven’t looked back. I’ve done 6 now, I’ve got two more, and 4 on order. lol

      @@ClaireWhoMakesThings Hi, you might be able to join if you message Marna@dollsrescued. You are more confident than me with the drill, i will just manage with the little pin drill for now 🤣🥰

    Well done, these neck pints look really good and it is nice to be able to move the heads round a bit more to give them different poses and expressions. I’ve been meaning to get one of those little screwdrivers fo my miniature making. Is that one good?

    • @octopudding325
      @octopudding325  Год назад +1

      Hi, definitely worth doing and yes the scewdriver a great, mine was about £8.99 on Amazon and i got loads of drill bits with it too, some have tiny vices too. here is the link www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07WM26KSF?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details. Thank you for watching 🥰

      @@octopudding325 I realise I said screwdriver instead of hand drill so I’m glad you knew what I was talking about. Thank you for the link 😊

    This downward look is one of the annoying issues which also affect stock Blythe dolls too. Like you say, for photographs it can be frustrating. You actually made this look very easy. I have tried to remove heads before and honestly it is terrifying! I'm convinced I'm going to break the doll every time I've tried it. I'm sure you'll do a great Mermaid makeover on your girl - I love her hair colour and face already.
