- The National Eucharistic Congress held in Indianapolis, Indiana concluded with a closing Mass and nearly 60,000 people present inside Lucas Oil Stadium. This was the procession out by a group of seminarians, priests and bishops afterwards.

@stephencharles7336 HE sure was. There were times when HE told Jeremiah to don a loincloth and pray, along with other prophets and Biblical heroes. John the Baptist wore a loincloth. In fact every time they wear sackcloth and ashes it was a loincloth. Judith covered herself with her hair and wore feces on her head. You see, there are times when being nude and approaching GOD is okay and times when it's not. This Congress though, was straight up disrespectful and silly. Very little reverence (though some) but it comes off as insincere.
@@JackRosetta I'm sorry you feel this way Jack. But I don't see any lack of reverance here or lack of respect. In fact, during Eucharistic Adoration I was there, and witnessed several minutes of pure silence from over 50,000 people contemplating God, and praying or conversing silently to Him while His presence was before us all to see. This wasn't silly at all, unless one looks at it through the eyes of the world and only what one can see.

I'm glad you could be there. It was a beautiful thing to be a part of! The number of seminarians gives me a lot of hope.
I was privileged to be able to go, and am still on a spiritual and emotional "high". The apparent count was just over 1600 seminarians, priests and bishops, and 1236 religious brothers and sisters with the sisters seeming to greatly outnumber the brothers. Just under 60,000 tickets were purchased for this event!

@@ws6488 I'm sorry to hear that you feel that way. One might say that all churches are responsible for the deaths of others but one would have to dig into the reason for this. Much more are politcal leaders responsible out of greed for possession of territory. The Church may not be perfect because it has human leaders, but it carries with it the devotion to God and willingness to share the truth so that others may become aware of it. Why would one choose to be ashamed of faith and devotion to God our spiritual leader and the one who loves us more than any other could possibly love us, and wants us to join Him someday?

And how does one believe they were Catholic bullets? When did this happen and where? I do know that in Nigeria Christians are killed by the group full and have no or little rights at all. Why using mobile during Eucharist service in the church very bad
I have a feeling most people who came wanted a memory to take with them, whether a photo or a video. I certainly did and had the ability to record the video posted and shared here. If I didn't, I wouldn't have had the opportunity to share this video with you or anyone on RUclips. But I understand your concern for the sacred. I wanted to record this procession before this final segment of the congress came to an end. My cell phone's ability to record video is weak, so I used my digital Canon camera instead.

What on earth is mass? The Catholic church is the only one I know of that has it. and by the way

It combines the two ways of worship that the apostles and early Christians worshipped by going first to the temple where the Word of God (at that time the Old Testament) was read, and then taking their worship to individual homes where the breaking of the bread was performed following the command of our Lord when He said, "Do this in memory of me."
@@Jugglingtedchannel Our little church went to church on Saturday, the Jewish day of worship and we had the wine and the bread, and foot washing once a month, then they did something horrible.they added a third door, it was for couples who didn't want to wash others feet. that's when my husband and I quit.

Jesus is indeed at the right hand of the Father and hears our prayers. Mary is not to be worshipped as only God should be. But she is to be respected and even says in scripture "All generations will call me 'blessed'". She is the daughter of the Father, the mother of the Son, and in a unique way spouse of the Holy Spirit through the conception of Jesus - truly an intimate relationship with the Holy Trinity! Mary and all the saints are part of the Body of Christ and are revered and praised as any hall of fame athlete is in the sports world. We can try and model our lives after them. Just as we can ask anyone here to pray for us, we can also ask those who are in the very presence of our Lord to also pray for us, including Mary or any of the saints. We do indeed have a great cloud of witnesses pulling for us and our salvation as there is more joy in Heaven over one repentant sinner than over 99 who have no need of repentance. And regarding the presence of Jesus in the Holy Eucharist, one either takes Jesus at His word in John 6, or doesn't. He's either revealing something for all of His followers to believe, or is speaking symbolically. The evidence he's speaking literally is shown when his own followers - the disciples - cannot accept His words and choose to walk away from Him and follow him no more. Jesus lets them go based on this teaching and asks His apostles if they too are going to leave Him. They choose to stay accepting His words. There have also been over 100 Eucharistic miracles documented in history with some still present and able to be examined at great length. Just google "Eucharistic Miracles". This maybe be one of the ways Jesus remains with us until the end of the world as he told his apostles at the end of Matthew's Gospel.

This Congress was a big missed opportunity, they should've been A Lot more reverant and not use GOD's Mass to promote Jonathan roumie the freemason and his Mormon TV show
Wow, that is totally untrue. I was there it. It was very reverent. I am one of the priests in that procession after the Mass. Jonathan Roumie was one of several speakers at the Congress. He is not a freemason. And "The Chosen" is not a Mormon TV show. The creators are Evangelical Christians and the cast and crew come from different faith backgrounds.
@Fr.AngeloCasimiro the Chosen is crowd funded by Mormons, Angel Studios is run by two Mormons, the Jerusalem scenses are filmed on the LDS salt lake city set and the Director seeks direct approval from the leading Elder, also they quote the book of Mormon. They can't even get the birth of CHRIST correct. It says in Revelations that CHRIST was born out the Front of Mary's womb, not like a normal woman! And she gave Birth like light passing through glass as the Church Fathers described it repeatedly and how it's depicted with Ezekiel’s temple
@Fr.AngeloCasimiro they played rock music during Adoration of the EUCHARIST. And most of the people treated it like a Justin Bieber concert. Most of the speeches were goofy, especially Fr. Schmitz. The Monsignor's speech was very good, and we needed to see more of that.
@Fr.AngeloCasimiro Father Casimiro, if people went to go see the King of England wouldn't they be dressed in business attire and act more respectful? The KING OF KINGS is brought to Indianopolis in a historic four way pilgrimage from across the country and this is what HE gets as a Congress?
