They are a custom furniture maker. Prices start at around $2500 CDN and up. It is a beautiful peace of furniture though. One of those items that will outlast you if you take care of it.
As a dinning room table the slates are thick enough that there is not allot of flex and anyone who eats off it will just think it's a high end rustic dinning room table. As a gaming table it works great. I got it with 2 sets of legs. I got legs to put in a dinning room at the proper height but I put shorter legs on it so that I could put it in my living room for couch height. I live in a small condo so I don't really have a dining room. Note that the guys who make these tables will let you make some customization to these tables so make sure that you talk to them about options as there are allot. I got leaves made for the side of the table that will hold a note pad and a pencil. My guys use it hold anything from their character sheets in D&D to their drinks. Be sure to get the options that suit best as to what games you are going to play on your table. Also I didn't realize this but this table comes packed in a very large wooden crate so make sure you have friends around to unpack it and get it in your home. Also make sure that you get the feet with the felt on the bottom if you are placing the tale on a hard surface. it make it very easy to move around which is important as the table is made from solid ash and very heavy. Also the slats for the dinning room table can be a little tough to remove. There is a button on one side so that you can lift the board up but I am disabled and it can be hard to actuate. I solved the problem buy putting a ribbon on one board so that they was something I could use to lift one of the boards out easily.
The creator of this video obviously wasn't completely sure whether he should do an interview with Mr. McFadden or video where the product(s) can be seen in detail. Though the guy looks nice enough, I'd have preferred to SEE the table(s) and HEAR the guy. :-) Thank you anyway!
The different bins seem to have a wooden rail insert to fit the rail which means that if a bin falls, it may dent and never be able to fit the rail again...
Had mine for a year and it's not a problem. It's a quality piece completely made out of Ash and is the most durable thing in my house. The bins cantilever into the slots so when you lift from the back and up they very easily slide out.
Would like to see a lot more information from this manufacturer. Their website is a one pager with no mention of models, customizations, sizes or prices.
I believe they have a smaller website because they really want to talk to the customers in person. I would give them a call if you have any questions they're very helpful.
I spoke and emailed Bob (the guy in the video) and he gave me a pretty detailed rundown of the table and its customization. Great guy, and was on top of things despite being quite busy with convention business and whatnot. Actually ordered a table from him a few days ago.
Pretty sure I'm sold on this. The quality is really good and I like the stow and store thing.
Sweet ordered mine yesterday they said it would be here in less than 4 weeks!
What was the price? Couldn't find anything on their site.

So how is the table? Did it live up to your expectations? How does it work as a dining room table? How does it work as game table?

Me: This guy sounds Canadian.
Guy: "If they have to take their kids to a hawkey game--"
Me: 😎

I emailed them. I don't want to make international calls to get basic information.
