    Neat! I like using the previous ring as a pattern for the next one. I assume your blades don't have pin ends so the entry hole is smaller.

    I make bowls the pretty much same way, if the angle is wide enough, try to use the round end of your belt sander to sand the inside of the bowl. It will really cut down the hand sanding time on the inside. I just hold the bowl off of the left side of the belt sander and hold the bowl so the inside is flush with the belt. If your angle is too small, say 32 degrees or less you might not get the bowl to lay flat against the belt.

      I'll have to give that try. Although I did recently buy a spindle sander and that works really well. Thanks for the tip!
