On the 12th day of ATR, we also visited the Ranthambore Fort, and the Trinetra Ganesh Temple inside it. The Trinetra Ganesh Temple is the only temple with Lord Ganesha depicted with a third eye in the human form (without the elephant head). The famous temple is said to be the oldest temple of Lord Ganesha in Rajasthan and depicts his whole family. The temple is about 12 kilometers from Sawai Madhopur.
We also learnt about Riddhi’s hunt at the Ranthambore Fort, when she killed a deer and stayed back with the kill for about six days until she had consumed the kill in full. For those six days or so, her place of stay was made out of bounds for tourists and others, and the visitors were diverted to use other paths and gates.
