Plz help someone. I’m a new grower, going to buy a 4x4 Vivosun tent, but buying a AC infinity light, should I buy a 3x3 light or will a 4x4 light fit inside a 4x4 tent? Or what light would you recommend for top quality buds inside that tent
I actually have a really awesome one that I’m recording a video for this week! Definitely not Vivosun and I’m excited to see if it lives up to the hype!
That’s something I’ve been curious about but haven’t looked a whole lot into, I can definitely put some effort into getting some for a winter indoor project!
I have a 4x8 and 2x4 Vivosun. Haven't had any complaints other than I should've gotten their 10x5 instead of the 4x8. It filled up fast. I got the 2x4 since I hqd enough extra equipment to set up a second hydroponic system. Got 7 different varieties of peppers going currently.
I really do love their tents. I’ve had two 4x8 tents and one 2x4 from them and I’ve never had a complaint. Price is fair and quality is there as well. My 4x8 is about to get really full. Starting about 250 peppers in there soon!
@@WhitepepperFarmshomestead My hydro set up takes a lot of space in mine, and I have filled the gaps with a lot of other stuff. But the plants I get from it get quite big and I end up with a pretty sizable, ongoing harvest of peppers. I do all mine indoors all year round. The temps where I live are a bit on the cool side unless you have a green house. I've posted a few videos of my grow if you're curious at all. And yeah, Vivosun tents are awesome. Nice tents for a reasonable price. I'd definitely recommend them to anyone looking to get one. I think they are the best bang for the buck.
Wow, these grow tents look amazing! The Vivosun brand seems to offer great quality and value. I'm seriously considering getting one for my indoor gardening. Thanks for sharing your recommendations!
What's your opinion of the Vivosun 2-in-1 style tents, with separated chambers? I'm thinking overkill... but I'm also concerned about cross-pollination (peppers are so promiscuous).
For trying to keep genetics I could see why you would want them, but I’ve never been interested in them. Definitely a bit overkill in my opinion. You could use netting to save isolated seed stock, that’s what I do!
That depends on what you’re trying to grow! For garden starts… just some lights and maybe a box fan or just some kind of small fan for some air movement. It really just depends on specifically what you want to grow.
How many of the vivosun reviews did you actually read on Amazon cuz I read a lot of them and I read a whole lot about light leaks but I'm just saying ‼️
That is definitely on my list! I actually started putting that one together when the holidays and vacations took over 😂. I should be able to get that done toward the beginning of the year, but I swear it’s coming!
Also, you link to your preferred lighting system -- but which wattage do you use? There's a $200 dollar difference between 1000/2000/3000/4000 watts. But this was EXACTLY the review I wanted. Musta sat through 2 days of'em before they got to what I wanted to know.
Sounds like you were paid? There's far better tents out there than what you have listed. Gorilla tent, AC Infinity, HTG Agrow max.. what are waste of time this video is
Spider farmer is better quality imo almost went with vivosun but since vivo zippers are subject to light leak and jam/break per reviews i dont have that problem with spider farmer yet
What do you think about the “MARS HYDRO Smart FC-E3000 Grow Tent Kit Complete APP Control Grow Light 3x3 Grow Tent Complete System 39"x39"x71"Grow Tent”? I’d like to try 2 plants. 1 Indica, 1 Sativa, perhaps 1 Hybrid if there is enough room. I’ve never grown before, so with their App to keep tabs on it (the tent would be in my Garage). If you have any other suggestions for a total newb in the $500-$1000CND range. The less complicated the better. They also have a 48x48x80 that is the exact same just a bit bigger with 6 light bars instead of 4.
@@Len_M. Ive heard good things about mars hydro lights, their tents idk i did a lot of scouring over tents whats better and really it just comes down to what you can afford. I'm a first time grower noob myself so i just picked a happy medium and what i could afford and settled on SF so far no complaints.
@@Len_M.Hell yeah Id be happy to hear what you decided to go with! I did go with a tent kit as it was a bit more cost effective but again so far no complaints seems well worth it, all the equipment has been running strong! They have barely hit the early stages of flowering. If i calculated it right harvest, should be some time first week of January, maybe second week at the latest. Happy Growing!
You gotta add acinfinity got my 8x4 for $200 which includes a controller so the tents only $150 plus 2000d thickness vs 600 and the controller I would hate to go without you can use non acinfinoty products with the $20 uis plug control everything from ur phone
I place vivosun on the bottom of the list in quality. For affordable quality I highly recommend AC Infinity. The best tents out there are gorilla tents but they're pricey. Next I'd place spider farmer tents well over vivosun tents.
Lol I have a spider farmer and a mars hydro. Id say vivosun would be right on par. It wouldn’t make sense realistically. I think the main issue is quality control in the factories in china. Some people get luckier some people get less lucky. I’ve still seen reviews of the gorilla tent having light leaks in certain spots and for that price you shouldn’t be satisfied if that’s the case but I like how tall they are. I got a 3x3x6.7 from eBay by progrow for $115. The 6.7 makes it for me no other companies do it for that price but it has light leaks and the zipper sucks but…it works.
@@ohmimprovement5767 your definitely right there The quality of AC Infinity is way better 2000D it's canvas compared to vivosun 600D thin as rice paper lol
@Nkoreanspy its widely regarded as the best grow tent on the planet. seems misleading to have a "top tents on amazon" video and not include it. i'm a bit offended.
To be honest, when this video was made it was based of the most starts and most reviews. Tents that have been heavily reviewed by a lot of people. I definitely want to make an updated version and these tents will absolutely be on them. They are insanely good tents, but along with that is a bigger price tag. Either way, I agree that these tents are awesome. It’s just hard when the most reviews you have on one of those on Amazon is 300 reviews… and that’s today, which means when I made this video they had even less if they were on Amazon at all. All the tents I put into this video have thousands of reviews and still have almost a 5 star rating. I stand by what I put into this video for the time period I posted it in. I will still agree with you, those tents are awesome.
And I appreciate you being willing to have a conversation about it! I will take all the constructive criticism I can get as long as it’s delivered well, and in this case it was! Thank you!
This video isn't accurate. He based his list off of reviews. These companies buy reviews so most of the reviews aren't legit to begin with. Basically no first hand experience, jus parroting what he heard.
I have a 4×4 complete kit. everything he said is true, thicker poles dont grow plants.. I had 2 tents i was looking at, the other one was twice the price for the said "thicker" poles. If you want the same result for twice the price, buy the one with the thicker poles..

Do you have the fan and filter on your current tent? Are those a must with these tents?
There is so much more out there than Vivosun

What did you decide on ? I heard this htg Silverback company is fantastic but idk.
Have you done a video on lights?
Not comparing any, we did one on the lights we use but that’s the only one!
