There are a few different ways you can get very easy loot from cheesing Battle Towers early game in RLCraft 2.9.2. Big loot, low risk.

So firstly you don't actually need a switch bow to use custom arrows of any sorts, anything which uses arrows as ammo can fire them too. Now another interesting strat which might be vital for the upcoming hcc is the invisibility strat. If you get yourself the invisibility potion effect and are wearing no armor or plain leather armor mobs won't aggro on you unless you hit them or are completely in their face meaning you can still break/place/carry on blocks without being spotted especially when you are sneaking since that stacks with invis detection range reduction as well

Thanks for the guide! Just started over after... let's just say a series of crushing failures. Raided the first battle tower I saw pretty much without a hitch (started with a pillar up to the slime ball floor, then just grappled my way up to the rest of the chests). Nice way to start the playthrough with a bit of momentum, for once.

I will have you know, I watched your video and got the tip about the hopper. I decided to go up the side, mine through the walls to get the lower level loot, then use a hopper and chest for the top two. Oh, the best laid plans of mice and men. I forgot what chest I was on and opened the one below the golem. Good times ensued. Nice vid.

So far you have the best "learn RLCraft" vids that I've seen. Nice work. Casualty is good, but I really don't want to do the tactical death strat, lol. That's too cheesy even for me.
just a little thing, hoppers has its own storage albeit quite small, so you don't really need a barrel all that much, just have a hopper, it don't aggro the golem

Chest grab method is simplest and very good. I recommend it for early game.

If you have no lockpicks then yeah you just have to leave it.
what is the key that pick up chest?
@@user-pi8bf6mz7wShift right-click with an empty hand, make sure you're close enough to the chest but far enough to not agro the golem.
I like the hopper/barrel method.
I know a lot of people do :)

@@Godsforsaken91 ahah.. man, I'm so cheap at the beginning that i only use one hopper. then do anything to retrieve it afterwards, when it doesn't drop in a good place i can reach it =))

If you are still early game, it is much better to clear the tower. Great source of xp. Just block the entry ways off with a single block and smite away

most of them have broken floors that let monsters fall through, and a single special mob will easily kill you right away

@@blackwatch4709 So, i literally JUST NOW after i said my last comment, did one and the monsters were falling through the holes in the floors, bunching up. I got through cause i got a nice sweep 3 diamond sword already, but that blight cave spider that fell down nearly ended me cause you don't have time to block up the holes.
@@Honerkamp idk what to tell you man, works for me. Did you use a shield? Did you wear armor too? Spiders almost always get stuck on walls for me. Easy pickings
The easiest and the most efficient strat is the grappling and carry on mod

If you build up with blocks so that the chess is just out of render distance you can just bow the golem and the golem won’t get agro at you…

@@SomeNutzGuy No, not really. It just takes about 3/4 of a stack of arrows but you can’t do it with a regular bow. At least you could as of 2.9.1… I haven’t tried it yet with 2.9.2.

I saw clxvn (idk if i write correct his name) figured way similar to ur last one. Basically u block off chest like in first attempt and then put some water and mine hole if needed. Golem then gets washed away, sometimes even without agro

Very useful guide, thanks! Though my problem are usually the jhins (zephyrs) who seem to spawn irregularly even when I attempt to tower or grapple up asap
Two questions. What’s the mod for carrying chests? And will a hopper work on a locked chest?
you can use a hopper but you can also put a barrel below the hopper to put all of the loot in instead of emptying the hopper every 5 items or howerver many it holds

I had blight cobold attacked me once. I thought that it's thing shiv made so that we wouldn't have easy time getting xp in last update.
But now I'm thinking, was I on low hp that time?
@@maksonaladin4033 i never been attacked by kobold and i did kill a blight one before but he just stood there and toke my hits, but when i was so low in health i got attacked by a regular kobold lol i found it funny tbh a coward who attacks people in their bad state, it suits the kobold

Any idea if shivaxi made advanced protection rarer or impossible to get from villagers? Looking at my statistics i have traded with 1138 librarians and not a single one had adv prot in any of its 3 trades...

WOW... I don't think so... That's just horrendous luck....
We've had 3 villagers with advanced prot on the server.
Uhh i have travelee so far that waystone teleport costs 14 levels, found multiple supreme enchancements of all kind, found 3 supreme sharpness, 3 villagers with upgraded potentials, 2 with advanced mending and not a single one adv prot.... I have even found a god damn shivaxi monument for the second time....

UPDATE i have found it on 1437th librarian.... Buying and combining to adv prot IV costs over 3 stacks of emeralds for 1 but idc

for some reason defiled stones doesn't break (probably to prevent the blocks from breaking since there are blossoms that explodes upon contact) i use those to block off the close floor where the golem is at
But is there a way to keep finding them? I’ve been liking I’m every direction for hours and have found only 1 and it was a mossy one
Nah just pure RNG. You'll find loads when you have a flying mount.
You don't actually need to use CarryOn or the hopper strat to get the second to last chest
Is that true? That chest used to trigger the golem as well
@@Arthamus It still triggers the golem, but you can cheese it easily by standing 3 blocks behind it (so 2 blocks between you and the chest) and 2 blocks down from floor level. if you did this correctly you can open the chest without the golem activating.

i doing it with vapula crystal pickaxe, dig whole floors and then kill all these juicy mobs with pets. then steal candies from boxes.

Do people increase spawn rates of battletowers or structures? I dont get this juicy loots and numbers of battletowers😅
@komikalsage juicy loot is top 2 floors. When doing a playthrough I don't mess with spawn rates or anything.

I killed my with scarlite dagger with additional vamp 2 and full set dia armor with half decent enchants. Oh, and enchanted medkit 😂
@@maksonaladin4033 scarlite dagger is kinda underrated ngl. It's my go to for iron armor-diamond armor stage.
@@puffif5322 it's only that thing, that ruby sometimes a difficult thing to find, and mostly u need more than recipe require for rerolling in case of bad quality
i just mine upwards trough the first layer of the tower , behind the chests , so i always get blocks to go up and can see the slabs from the roofs so i know at with height the chests are
Just so everyone knows in the newest version the golem gets alerted 1 block farther, so the block trick doesn’t work

Question. Can the spawner break or run out of monsters? I used a small dungeon that I found as an exp farm and died but found the spawner broken when I respawned.
Yeah spawners break after x amount of spawns.

I say, why can't the ice and fire dragon mod be updated to have dragon steel, it would have been in the old version

I agree! But you can't really beat the Golem in Iron Armour. So you can do this after clearing the rest of the tower too.
Or this is good for Hardcore when doing a tower normally early game is a bad idea but you want the loot.
