@@PERTHWESTOZRC I was looking at the brushed one which I can't get either code to work, not too sure what is going on :( . BG9cf511 works for me for about 4% off the brushless unit ($374.21CAD before shipping and the coupon code gives $15.09 off). Maybe because both trucks are currently on sale, at least for me.
Great looking truck, would be awesome at a bmx track. I took one of my trucks to the local track last weekend, once this rain clears up I'll be taking more of my cars there and seeing how they handle it. Great vid!
Great Video Dave. Look's like ZD Racing Have Lifted the bar and fitted good parts' in this one..lol the diffs sound a lot better than the earlier ZD Racing Rig's..Thumbs up Brother.
Nice review! Seems everyone else was scared to jump her 🤣 glad you did that for us! Mine should be here in a couple weeks (banggood to US is sluggish lol) I can't wait to rip it up!
Tamiya and HPI attack gears are working in this quite nicely, watch out for front and rear diff attack gears (bevel gears) because they strip way too easily, it barely handled 3300kv from my monster truck as ai did conversion from brushed, brushed version don't have adjustable toe in/out.
The Rocket DBX is not 1/10 scale, it's more of a 1/12!, Losi Lasernut is much (Bigger) in my Opinion, but ZD Racing didn't corrected for measurement and sizeing, Nice Unboxing this wonderful product.
Yeah unfortunately it has gone up in price since i made this video in April last year, but they do come up for sale now and again, cheers for watching Dan 🍻
Alot of buggies actually come from factory with some front toe out and rear negative camber for extra stability and help them drive straight. Although yes, removing the toe out will give you better steering response, but yeah depends on the buggy, your driving style, the serface your on and what you prefer. Set up what you've done now seems to work pretty well so it seems like it did improve things 👍🏻
I love this one I think it's great car for the money and better option then the new Wltoys 104001 as this already is Brushless and fast and great basher. Would like to see this one on BMX track.
It’s still going good, taken it out a few times so far, I had issues with one of the rear wheel hexes stripping out easy after the 3rd outing which is no big deal and bought front C-hubs as spares as others have noted they are a weak spot being plastic.
Love all ur videos man u taught me so much and helped with upgrades and ideas .. my question for you this evening is have you had any issues with your diffs or have you run into any other issues with your DBX10 now that u had it a while...I ijust ordered one but I've also seen some videos where this 1 guy had a 5 part series and he complained that his diffs were bad and he had to reshim them
Hey Brother thanks for watching and good question. Personally I have had zero issues with the diff's on my DBX10 so far but.... I have shredded and rounded off one of the hexes built into the actual wheel itself as the hex adaptors are plastic, so had to glue the hex to the inside of one if the rear wheels itself for now and seems to be holding up well so far but other than that zero issues, it has decent power for bashing👍
Perth Hey in your opinion strictly your opinion which is a better RC car T car they're close in price enough for me to say that they're the same price the DBX10 or the F22A
I actually do like both of these RC's, as both perform well, so that's a hard one brother. The XLF is very durable I think since I bashed it at the track nothing broke except the shell cracked a little, its all metal construction really takes a beating. This DBX 10 is also a decent desert buggy, jumps well has great torque but lacks a bit of top end speed compared to the F22A, but its a basher not a speed runner. So yeah I do like both, so I guess its up to personal choice and what style of truck you want for bashing👍
@@PERTHWESTOZRC Thanks Perth you really didn't make a decision lol lol lol for me I think it's gonna come down down to the fact that the F22A seems to have limited suspension travel.... I'm gonna put a 120. ESC in the dbx and try 4s on stock motor and gearing
Cheers brother, appreciate you watching! 👍🍻 definitely a good basher with decent power! I would like to see the hub carriers upgraded to metal ones, hopefully ZD Racing release some aftermarket parts in the near future
@@PERTHWESTOZRC yeah they do good parts just not enough of them, I’ve some lovely blue and silver aluminium ZD shocks I’ve fitted on a Tamiya buggy and they were only £7.95 English pounds for a set of 2!! I got the 110mm for the rear and the 65mm for the front there fat, oil filled and soak up the jumps. So defo bro more parts pls ZD racing 🙏 take it easy n have a good day mate 🍻
Chinese 1/10scale size for RC'S are different and slightly smaller than more expensive brands like Arrma, Traxxas Losi etc, always been that way, even said it in this video! Cheers for watching!
In one of the first reviews I saw of this car, one of the wheels got stripped at the hex. To me this just screams poor quality (and/or quality control).
Probably just unlucky mate, had no issues with the wheels at all with this one after bashing it around and jumping it in this video Thanks for watching!
