Not bad for the price, with a few upgrades this thing will rip, They seem to be decently tough, it's not a skatepark basher but its fun to rip around and hit some decent jumps... Kinda like my old TerrorMoto V2 Not a hardcore basher but great fun ripping around...
Oh man, I've been looking at the brushless metal chassis version of this, which is a whole 'nuther beast, and runs about $240 on banggood, and when I first saw this header about it being $150 I flipped, thinking it was on some kinda super-sale discount, was frankly ready to buy two at that price..! Had no idea they made this cheaper, beginner-lever version of it... Even at $150, I dunno... MUCH better vehicles for the same money, though maybe not in 1/10th scale... Still, very informative video, well done!
@@vincentyossarian7736 sorry to disappoint lol! It’s a decent car for $150 and easily upgradable. I would recommend ordering the spiral cut diff gears if you plan on upgrading it to brushless though. Thanks for watching!
this car has a brushed motor, if it is new then you have to run it slowly for the first 2-3 batteries, it is so that the motor will work well in the future.
talking about price... brushed and brushless is about 100 USD difference, so I have also bought the cheaper one, going to upgrade to brushless and see if it was a good way to this or just buy already brushless, comparing the specs they do have some differences in gear and wheels... so...
ZD has made some cool stuff but not all that durable. We have the Pirates 3 truggy and it does wear down those chinesium parts but its a blast on 4s. ESC smoked itself so we threw a cheap 6s rates Surpass Hobby one in it years ago. Parts are pretty inexpensive at least. I haven't seen anything new from ZD in years and that's a shame. I use ZD shocks on our 3s Big Rock with a little modification to them and they stand up. The paddle tires you have there are awesome! We use the same ones a few rigs in the snow.
Took the words right out of my mouth! They are by no means built for huge sends and monster jumps but they get the job done for a cheap rc fix. I also run the ZD shocks on a few of my arrma 3S vehicles. Cant beat the price for those big bore aluminum ones
@@413RC I found that the rods just need polished or else they rough up the o-rings and leak. That and different oil weights are my only "modifications".

exactly! gotta take the price into consideration when "bashing" a car. No $150 cars will withstand jumping 50' in the air lol

Nice backyard track. The car seems great for the money 👍
I have the brushless version. Havent touched it since summer of last year because of school and practice but it my favorite out of my 3 rcs
Its definitely a fun basher!

They make one of these with a metal chassis and 3s
Yes. For a lot more $

Question, what are the tools needed for this?
Most cars simply use a standard hex tool kit like this

Are all transmitters standard? Lets say ill just buy an aftermarket transmitter, would it be compatible?

Hey Danielson!
Hola
Do you have an Omni-Terminator? Didn’t see a video? Best release by Rlaarlo in the truck/truggy sector period! And nobody at that scale can touch it…
I do have one, but like a few other RUclipsrs I dont think I'll be reviewing it...
