This, along with bradfrey's channel, are my two go-to channels for learning more about music theory and composition. I'm going into college this Fall for Music Education and all of these videos help me grasp different concepts so well. I'm a very independent and hands-on learner, so being able to check out any video from this channel, take in the information, take notes on these scores, and apply it to my own stuff is extremely helpful. These channels don't get enough views and support.
I just noticed that at 1:36, the little ascending line matches with Han being pulled away from Leia. Even when John is focusing on the bigger picture, he still adds some tiny touches.
I do wonder if Williams was playing a bit of a trick when Luke approaches Cloud City, via the brief statement of his theme, to give us false hope of a rescue? This would be similar, in a way, to Jaws, when you see a shark fin, but no theme, as it turns out to be kids playing a prank.
As an amateur composer/orchestrator, you sir impress me and help me beyond belief. Could you do Enter Lord Vader in the future? I’ve been trying to pick apart that one
Wonderful analysis as always. ESB's score from here to the end of the credits is among the finest music ever synchronised to picture.
I agree with this, the only other score I can think of is ET
Fantastic analysis as always! I really appreciate just how much effort you put into these videos.

Nice work as per usual!
Absolutely love this!
1:01 Albeit faint, 2 Wilhelm Screams
Thank you
Great Work! I love all of your videos! Question: Do you transcribe these all by ear or reduce them from a score or both?
Ayo he back
Love your work man, can you do the score reduction of "your father would be proud" of ST rogue one? that theme is insane
I love your analysis, they are really helping me through my exams and I really appreciate your dedication to your videos! :)
Haven’t seen this yet but know it’ll be informative. Also, here’s a score suggestion: anything from Homeward Bound.
I second this request. Homeward Bound Suite from I and II, by Bruce Broughton, is a severely underrated score.

WE WANT "drone attack" from hunger game tbosas
hi i membershiped your patreon but where's the pdf?
Do you have any score from which you create the reduction, or do you transcribe it all by ear?
Anyway great work and thanks for sharing!
