- Today we take a look at one of the fastest production vehicles produced!! New 2021 - 2022 Current Generation and possibly outgoing model Hellcat Redeye! Todays video goes in depth with the new Dodge Charger Hellcat Redeye! This is an incredible muscle car that has the option of going from 500 HP with a black key, to unlocking the full potential of 797 HP with the RED key! The performance technology features has every gauge or track setting you would need to keep an "eye" out while out on the track! The cooling system from the Demon has been integrated into this car as well and is only offered on these two models. This is a comfortable car to drive, it's very easy to manage and everything is laid out very well to use. The rear seats are actually functional and you could be comfortable for awhile which is nice. The rear truck space has a good amount of room as well and with the seats down, you could pack in a lot! So for a track oriented vehicle, this has all of the daily driving aspects to be able and use it on the street. It is quiet, but the supercharger wine is very very loud, but it is comfortable for daily use. Overall the Charger Hellcat Redeye has big power figures, but weighs so much that it's not really that fast from a roll. Not to say it's slow, but compared to other cars with 700+ HP, it's not impressive. My GTR will smoke this ;) But if you do some modifications and make the Hellcat Redeye 1000 HP, then it will be a very fast car! The Charger Hellcat Redeye does handle pretty well tho and you can tell it is a tight muscle car to drive!

Still my favorite of the hellcat models. Love how great it sounds. That 4.7 mph hurts my heart though. Guess flooring the pedal makes the pain go away. Great video man!

Yes! I have been working on a lot of Rams and Dodge’s lately. I think that they dedicate a lot of time to making an amazing product.

Great video ! Hellcat RUclipsrs make it seem pretty amazing , it looked kind of meh here though , your reaction was not what I was expecting lol . My RT challenger seems more aggressive and torque’er than that .
Yeah I'm used to my GTR with 700hp. For me, the Hellcats are the slow bunch of the 700-800hp cars. On paper they make crazy power, but they are just so heavy it doesn't really translate. I think my Tuned Supra would be just as fast as this with 500hp. My GT would stomp this as would other cars with the same power. But the cool thing is, do some mods, smaller pulley, E85 and make this 1000 hp. Then it would rip!
Your N/A V8 is definitely a smooth power band!

The suspension is indeed rough IN TRACK MODE you can switch the suspension over to street mode or sport and she will go softer.

I had a Challenger Hellcat before they made the Charger HC. The longer wheelbase is what makes the Charger easier to drive fast. I can only imagine the Redeye now

@@alexmaclean1 Quite a bit. Everything but the kitchen sink, pretty much...which would be pistons and the upgrades necessary to run E. So the meat of my current times are really just bigger turbos (Garrett Stage 2), a bigger intercooler (Full-Race) and 70/30 WMI tuned by MPT. This is just on 91 octane. I just moved to a bigger city that has 93/E85, so I'm looking forward to the gains.

That's awesoem! I have E85 in my GTR and it makes a world of difference! Adds like 80hp or so. You'd love the feeling with turbos. At 4k, it rips soo much harder then gas.

Yeah the RSQ8 is amazing! I love how the power just builds. I think the refinements in the Audi just make it feel way faster. This being a car, it feels slow compared to other cars with the same power.
I bought a new M4 in Germany. Absolutely no comparison. The M4 (for 20k less) destroyed the Hellcat I test drove in both performance and handling.
Where did you get a brand new BMW M4 for $20K less than a brand new Charger Hellcat?? But Germany may have different pricing than here in the United States. If you google base msrp, the M4 starts at $72 and the hellcat is $74. But also, an M4 is a two door vehicle, charger is a four door, so not really competitors since they offer different amounts of space. The M4 is quick, but can't catch a hellcat, it's a faster car. However I'd go with the M4 because it'll handle better.

But anyway, way more overral bang for buck in the M4, and the comparison is not that far apart - if you really want to split hairs, we'll call it an M3, and now you got your 4 door - and even cheaper than the M4 ; )

A BMW is definitely way more expensive than a Charger Hellcat!
They are not the fastest but being able to throw your kids in the back seat, kids shit in trunk, wife in the front, not feeling cramped up and 800hp, it’s a win-win for me.
Oh its a great car for sure! Not many offer what this does. And its a good base to start with for mods. Pulley and tune add a ton of power!

I'm just so used to my car. Similar HP with 700 fewer pounds. These heavy Dodge cars need some aftermarket tuning to really rip it in my opinion. They are fast for sure. But just on the slow end when you compare it to other cars making 700-800 HP. So comparatively they are slow.
It's when you compare these heavy Dodge cars to other 700-800 HP cars. These are the slowest of the group. I'm used to my GTR which smokes these. But when you do some mods, smaller pulley and make 1000 HP, then these are rip your face off fast! My friend had a 1,000HP TrackHawk and it was barely lower then my 700 HP GTR. So they just need a ton of power to compensate for the weight

Depends on how much you put down and what you can afford! That will be different for everyone, so it's hard to answer that!
i understand this car is for power n muscle but at least the new Scatpack WB has adaptive suspension adaptive cruise control .. lane keep assist and an arm rest in back seats..this has nothin
Yeah this was a 2020 model year I think. Didn't have too many options. We have some 2022 Hellcat videos coming that had more options

Had the red one. I'm just used to my 700 HP Nissan GTR. These heavy Hellcats just need more power to actually be fast for my taste. Compared to other 700-800 HP cars, this is the slow poke of the group lol

Maybe view my channel? I own a FBO E85 Nissan GTR. This needs about 900 HP to be on par with my car. Quick car for sure. But my car is just wayyy faster lol
great video but you can't do pulls or shift good. Like you shift to early and thats why is not giving you power. You aren't even on sport mode or hitting the gas at all you are going like 25% throttle.
Actually I did a full pedal to the floor accelerations in sport mode. This car literally has an identical 0-60 time as a Toyota Camry. Its just not a fast car. The 6.4 is much quicker. But being so heavy the Hellcat is the only one that actually feels fast

YEs this is quick car. But it just weighs so much it doesnt hang with the other cars that make the same power

I had it for the test drive like I said in the vid. But for me coming from a 700 HP GTR. THis just isnt too impressive. Comparing this to other 700-800hp cars, this is the slow one of the bunch. Still a fast car, but comparable to others with this power, its too big and heavy to be fast compared to those. Huracan, 720s, E85 GTR's, GT500. Those are all sooo much faster

I used to really enjoy these videos, but this one rubbed me the wrong way. First of all, the “regular” Hellcat is damn fast/powerful on its own, let alone the Redeye variant. These cars have crazy hp & torque numbers straight from the factory..and they’re SEDANS. To talk the car down and claim “it doesn’t feel fast” is idiotic. It’s also a bit arrogant to continuously compare a Charger Hellcat with your modded GTR. They’re two different cars to begin with, and yours certainly is not factory. It’s BS when guys claim “well, this car produces this if you do this and it’s this fast”. You can make nearly anything “fast” if you dump the right mods into it.
Many people on here would think a V6 Mustang is fast, so the Hellcats are an unobtainable dream for them. That does the average viewer no justice. You’ve come across as entitled and it’s disappointing for you to blend in with the many other biased so-called reviewers.
Keep in mind, I can only ever talk about anything from my perspective. I daily drive a 700 HP GTR. Yeah it's highly modified and significantly faster than this Hellcat. So to me, who drives a car that keeps up with Supercars, this Redeye just isnt all too impressive for me. Everyone has a different perspective. Now, if you did all the same mods to this redeye that my car has, yeah this would be awesome! And very fast for even my perspective. I'm reviewing this car from my point of view. As an FBO GTR owner, not many cars are that fast in my mind. I'm used to a faster car. However, of course this is still a quick car, but when you do compare this to other 700-800 HP cars, this is the slow one of the group since it weighs so much. So keep that in mind. A Supercharged Huracan with 800 hp, McLaren 720s, FBO GTR, and other very high horsepower cars, this is the slowest in the category.

Have you driven one? My 700HP GTR is lighter with less power and much faster! Sure it has a lot of power but it has to move 4600 pounds! It’s not crazy fast because of the weight.

Keep i mind I'm used to a 700 hp GTR. When you look at all the cars with 700-800 HP, the weight of the Charger makes it feel the slowest. From my perspective, it's decent. But not that fast. Need a smaller pulley, intake, full exhaust and tuning to make 1,000 at the crank. Then its very fast!
