This is saying that Crooks arrived only a couple of minutes before he started shooting. But what about the videos that show him there half an hour before and climbing on the roof? The massive lies and cover up is in full swing.

The view from the car was obscure due to the sun glare. But I agree, there were other view points who could see the weapon clearly.
They did rely information that the guy was armed to USSS and other police agencies. At that time crooks started shooting, and butler ESU officers started running toward the line of fire. One of these officers hit crooks in the shoulder.
Yet NO ONE got Trump off the stage FIRST.

Apparently, there was an autopsy, but there were still more questions they could have asked the body. The body was released, and the guy whose signature is on the release form says he didn't release it.

We never saw this video from the State Police camera, this view is the first to actually show the armed Crooks looking at the Butler Officer hanging on to the roof. This confirms that this Butler officer did see Crooks armed 38 seconds before Crooks fired.
This officer, although I can’t see from this dash cam, radioed on his channel that the fellow on the roof had a “long gun.” This I believe at least got to his supervisor at his Butler Police Station. However, since this officer was on what appears from his dash cam footage on routine community patrol and was dispatched by his supervisor to the AGR building, it’s possible that this critical transmission may have only went to his off site supervisor and not to the rally officers.
Apparently, he thought his warning was received. I think obviously that this message was so exigent that without confirmation of receipt it required that this officer fire his gun which would have immediately removed Trump as a target, a grave mistake from a shaken officer who had just looked at the wrong end of a AK47 held by an assassin.
This in no way explains the lack of action or concern by the officers about the AGR roof with a known crawling man on it and with a number of bystanders shouting that he is not only on the roof but has a gun!

The cop that faced Crooks on the roof deserted his post and ran like a coward. "Hurt his ankle"? Look at his body cam. He RAN around the end of the building, ran circles and figure 8's in front of the building, ran to his car and fumbled with a rifle, then ran back to the building to cower. He does NOT deserve to remain employed as a cop.

Because the cop that dropped to the ground would have certainly told the other, "He's got a rifle!" That would be a death sentence to try to climb back up onto a roof with an armed and alerted shooter that you do not know exactly where on the roof he is at that point.
