- Come on a Saturday night walking tour of the Fontainebleau Las Vegas on the Las Vegas Strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fontainebleau Las Vegas is the newest casino resort to open on the Las Vegas Strip. The resort started construction in February 2007 and changed ownerships a few times. The resort cost of $3.7 billion to build and finished after 16 years. It opened on December 13, 2023 with a ribbon cutting event at 10AM earlier in the day and private event for invited guests before it open to the general public late that evening. The hotel tower is 67 stories and has 3,644 rooms. It is 737 feet (225 m) tall making it the tallest occupiable building in the state of Nevada. Fontainebleau features restaurants like Komodo Las Vegas, Papi Steak Las Vegas, and Don's Prime. It is home to the Bleaulive Theater and LIV Nightclub Las Vegas.

Fontainebleau is very spacious and has the most modern amenities and ambience, but there’s way too many dead spaces. It needs to have a more welcoming atmosphere! Thank you very much for the tour.

Haha nice. This is the most busy I have seen in a while. Huge NAB broadcasting conference in town at the convention center next door with 65,000 attendees.
@@WalkingAmbience really. Yes I hear alot of people staying there talking about it on Facebook saying it's gone busy now. Is it because of the NAB event? That's where I wish I was too lol
Weekdays are dead. Weekends get a little busier. They still need to build out a bigger hotel and casino clientele base.

They do have pools. I haven’t been there yet. They weren’t open when I stayed there.

Major luxury retailers like Gucci on the casino floor is an interesting modern take, and one which I think will work well. But the acres of shiny white marble, white walls, white ceilings, cold-toned white lighting and blue neon adds up to a very unwelcoming ambience. I know a lot of vegas hotels just feel like malls, but this really is giving supersized gigantic shiny mall vibes. Nonetheless, I will be going to check it out in person.
We will see in a couple years when the retailers and restaurants fill out. Anything is better than the vacant building that was sitting there for over a decade.

That's a beautiful place, but I sure hope they figure out a way to get more gamblers in there otherwise it's in trouble. Mother Wolf was not good. My pasta was chewy.
Yeah, it is. They will need to build out a data base of gamblers and hotel guests. Yikes, that is not good. I haven’t ate there yet.

Within the first month of this place opening they already lost acouple of big executives. Something definitely wrong there.

Beautiful Casino, but it is hemorrhaging millions of dollars per week.
Yeah, they are bleeding money every day.
I went to the Fountainbleau in Miami over the week, and it was the most happening in lit environment. The new hotel in Vegas is completely dead in a total waste of money in time.
You can’t really compare a well oiled machine like the 70 years old Miami Beach property to a 4 month old property.
I was next store 4 seasons (Free 5 nites 10th flr) the Pool there James Bond would LOVE !! My Doc bt a couple of Condo's there for $250K in 2010 $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. If u have a good job u can buy in bad times..

@@WalkingAmbience fb in Miami is way better completely renovated and aesthetically more pleasing than that lackluster hotel in Vegas. Rooms in Miami are much nicer as well. Not to mention that Miami you’re the center of the action., this place in Vegas is just a Ghost Town already dead

It is actually not the bad! Good food and nightlife. Anything is better than an empty blue building for over a decade.
