    Nice of Alexis to dispose of this guy, we don't need toxic players like that, who try to win by annoying others instead of their TT skill. I watched his delaying in another video, quite ridiculous.
    On another note, kudos to WTT editors for releasing highlights less than 24h after the games. Real progress compared to a could years back.

    • @TRANhanoi
      @TRANhanoi Год назад +6

      Not really his fault. CNT players follow coaches' real-time instructions to the letter. It is part of their mental game, especially when Alexis rushed to play A LOT (yes, he is clearly the better one here). Yellow-red cards are quite meaningless here.

    • @avova
      @avova Год назад +5

      Utter nonsense. Alexis was the toxic one, rushing like crazy and never noticing his raised hand.
      Pros need a bit of time between the points to analyze what is happening, and Lebrun was trying to deny Yuan that.

      @@avova then why did he receive two cards from the umpire if it was normal? This was way more than the opponent has to wait for you. Nice troll bait but I won't bite

    I don't mind hearing Chole after a point is scored, but the six to seven noises that Yuan has made after practically every point he has won is a sign of a semi-pro. Look at any other video. He does this constantly.
    Granted, lots of other players make noises too, but his noises are the most noticeable. I'm still trying to decide whether I notice them so much because I don't know what he's saying or if it's another reason.

    Does anyone know why Alexis had his name on the back of his shirt censored with white tape? I saw that last year with some Portuguese players as well at the European championships, curious to find out what that is about🤔

    Alex Lebrun is a talent player, but also a lot of things can be improved. He has no better way to receive the left-handed players services. This will make him difficult to play with high level left-handed players such as lin yun-ju and Wang chuchin.

    The umpire did not do the right job, it looks like Alexis push the umpire to make the decision! The rules state that after the umpire speak out the points then the player can start , if Yuan copy Alexis serve or even faster without looking at Alexis to see if he is ready, what the umpire will do , will the umpire give yellow or red card to Alexis as well? then the situation will lost control! Actually Alexis served too fast and it's rude without looking the other side if he is ready. just complain with the umpire, let the umpire make the decision!
    how about change the rules, after the umpire speak out the points, the players must serve in 3 or 5 seconds. I think all the audience will like it, but most player will hate it.

    • @TRANhanoi
      @TRANhanoi Год назад +1

      yeah Alexis rushed to serve a lot. I think Licen should raise his hand when receiving even more (he has the right), and waste less time in his serves.

    • @elmanuboy
      @elmanuboy Год назад +1

      Both brothers are known for their fast pace, it's part of their game indeed. But surely Alexis could do a rapid check before serving to make sure.

    • @TRANhanoi
      @TRANhanoi Год назад +1

      @@elmanuboy yeah, the referee should have intervened when Yuan raised his hand a couple of times. That would calm both down, and Lican would not need to stall in his serve

  • @あるあ-i5f
    @あるあ-i5f Год назад +12

    Personally, I think Leblanc's habit of serving without looking at his opponent should be quashed, even if it means changing the rules.
    He may become a great player, but there is no way anyone should be allowed to do something that stupid.
    Table tennis is only a gentleman's sport.
    What is France doing?

    • @Resistor-u7e

      But sometime stalling to get your opponent into your rhythm is also not good for the game

    • @TRANhanoi
      @TRANhanoi Год назад +1

      yeah, so I think the two cards for Licen were not that fair. The match was still very fluid until then.

    • @suge.59
      @suge.59 Год назад +5

      He definitely knows here that his opponent left the table after being in ready position (which is not normal). He served anyway like "ok if you leave I still serve". Very creative way to put pressure on the referee to make a decision
