I have a lady with a 2018 micra (canadian) I can't find what chip it takes- have the fob working. Tried generating chips too, any hints? Read pin code but won't program the 46 chip
do you ever get keys that you cannot program ? if so what do you do then just tell them go to dealer or work it out somehow ? thanks !
cagmito76 if its not the correct key it wont program ..also if something is wrong with the cars computer, fuse box or if it has some type of after market alarm its going to give you a hard time..i have this book that has all the car years and keys its called "auto truck key blank reference" its by ilco if the key doesnt program or the programmer doesnt connect theres something wrong with the car ..sometime the software on the programmer for the xtool might need an update if its not connecting and only reading the bcm code .. so you have to rule out the possibillities when your having trouble with a car.
Xtool does well with Nissan and Mitsubishi vehicles i use my M8 for most other vehicles and my Autel ds708 for Holden and ford

I have a hyundai veracruz I lost my only fob I bought a new one through my local dealership but they couldn’t program it cause my car wouldn’t go into accessory mode i’m I able to use this programmer if my car can’t go into accessory mode

What kind of cars Can Xtool Pad2 program? How key programmer machines you have? And which will work with Mercedes, BMW?
The xtool pad2 is very limited ..i recommend you upgrade to the autopropad basic! For mercedes and bmw you need to precode the keys ... for bmw start off with a ak90+ then move up to mercedes ,mercedes is a very complicated vehicle ...if you have money to invest try buying the vvdi mb.

They are the same except the ps90 is wireless.. i would recommend just buying the basic Autopropad if your low on money... if you have money buy the full autopropad with eeprom and kc100 ... well worth it...

Nissan i love to order them.. or lishi ... hondas trunk latch lock,trunk lock or gloves box.. honda key codes are more pricey dont really like to order

2008 and under models require old pin code... 2009 and up would be new pin code ..

El autopropad es mejor !! Se hacen mas cosas con el autopropad... el pad2 era mi primera programadora!!

How do you know the inmmovilizer system ( 4 Pin ) and type 1 why not type 2 ?
After so much of experience and usage ..or you can go on autopropad.com vehicle list ..select year and model .. should let you know what system it is!! Right now it's under construction so the page isnt working..

Can I erase all key for a nissan versa 2008 with the x100pad2??
I believe when you program a new key .. you have to cylce all they keys you have to reprogram.. so when you program a new key the old ones automatically erase...
Try doing it under all keys lost

Yes of course!! If your not sure what you can program check out autopropad.com ;vehicles list; and it should give u a list of what you can and cant ..it also gives you instructions!!
