My Swanky order came a few days ago, and I feel we had a similar experience unboxing haha. I also got Fall Celebration, and it was definitely influenced by how many people were talking about it. I think bc soo many of the blends have that buttercream/mallo type base they sorta end up smelling similar. So I'm trying to make sure and really be conscientious of that when ordering from here on out. I've got scoops of Toasted mallo and buttercream so I can always use those to cream things up rather than dozens of loaves I def don't need lol. I love her sensual/woodsy blends too, but when I went through my loaves I noticed I had like 6 loaves that were all some version of Birch and Sandalwood with like maybe one little difference (one might have VBN and one has mallo) so yeah lol 🤦♀️ Are you planning to order tonight from the Winter preorder?
Yes!! So many blends have very similar & creamy notes my nose started smelling the same thing as I was sniffing back to back! 😅 I do love how Swanky wax comes alive on warm so I am looking forward to trying everything! I do need to be super conscious next time I order because I agree, so many blends have lots of similar notes in them. I want to order from the winter preorder but am going to try to be strong and sit this one out. I need to work on my current wax stash and I already bought 2 of her mystery grab bags she offered on FB, those are supposed to ship late October I believe. I've also got a LOT of Swanky to start working through haha, plus I just received a HUGE Bathing Garden Halloween order (omg it's amazing, and has me really excited for the Christmas/Winter collection!) and pre-ordered the Everything Vice Home Alone advent so I'm done ordering for the rest of this month anyway haha. Oh no problem!! 😁 I get great throw from Swanky, the scents, especially the bakery ones, I’ve found come alive on warm. However some of them aren’t super long lasting. I’ve really enjoyed the swanky scents I’ve warmed so far. Thanks for watching!
So far I’ve really enjoyed what I’ve melted! I get great throw, but it’s not too long lasting. I’ve noticed a lot of the scents I pick up have a creamy base note but I do tend to get a lot of bakery scents, haha! I’ll have to experiment more though since I’m still relatively new to Swanky. Wasn't a fan of Swankey. I ordered from her a few times and all of it had a base scent of hair spray. Medium throw. Meh.
