The Lost LIRR Elmhurst Station

Well, here's a new video after over 5 months of not uploading. To be honest, I was feeling unmotivated most likely because I was burnt out. However, I now feel like making more videos right now and I will make sure to inform you all in the future if I need to take short break.

Goodmoring sir. That was awesome video. About the Elmhurst LIRR station. Witch the MTA needs to bring back . Due to rapid growth in the neighborhood. If the MTA would've Rebuild the station. It would take some of pressure off the M and R Subways especially on the weekends when the M train dose'nt run along that part of Queens. Meanwhile the R train is the only train that stops there during the weekdays. There also a connection for the Q-53 S.B.S close by. But only time will tell if the MTA would've decided to Rebuild the now former Elmhurst LIRR station 🚉

They should reopen the station by rebuilding it to fit 10-12 cars of M3 M7 and M9s. Followed by covered passageway between this station and the subway M & R trains from Queens Blvd BMT division. 7 train serves the northern part of the neighborhood around 90th Street

Now wish the Woodside branch was preserved, cause it could've been used to reroute Port Washington trains and basically allow for high frequency service.
Where PW trains could run into Manhattan on their own Trunk instead of sharing tracks into penn.

I miss my old neighborhood Elmhurst, I went to Newtown High School which is 4 blocks away from the underpass. I’ve been to the dumpling shop that’s right next to that brick formation from the old station many times and my barbershop is up the block from that bridge that used to be part of the station. Having a LIRR station there would be convenient.
