Hi everyone, Jo here again. Thanks so much for popping in. Today, I am going to make a design suitable for this month’s Lavinia Challenge, “Star Gazing”.
We have so many fabulous stamps that could be used for this design, not least of all, the Star Gazers themselves.
I am going to stamp our fabulous fairy, Raven, and add some stars and foliage. Colour will be provided by Lavinia Elements Inks, and pencils, with sparkle from Posca pens and the wonderful Wink of Stella, adding the magic. All finished off with a sentiment sticker.
Remember, the winner is chosen at random and wins a £40 Voucher to spend at Lavinia Stamps.
So plump up your cushions and join me now….

Jo, you are so very clever. I love this card, everything about it. And I learned that wonderful new tip, how to put the yellow glow around her. Thank you for your inspiration and teaching.

Have you thought of using a stamping platform, Jo? It may be easier on your hands and wrists. I use mine for the solid images, like the animals or fairies as I have carpal tunnel, and I use an air hockey handle (the kind that you hit the puck with) as a pressure/rubbing tool to get even pressure. Those are much cheaper than an actual craft tool and have felt underneath so you don't scratch the platform lid.

Thanks so much and yes I have one and use it on the days when my hand is particularly painful. I don’t have one of the rubbing tools though…I will look into it.. great advice…bless you…xx💙

@@JoRice that one I have is very light weight too so it's not a struggle to manipulate it. I got it off Amazon if I recall correctly.

Would like to know where you got the star stamp from. I am finding it hard to track down a four pointed star like that. Thanks.
