    Please explain the layout of these fascinating boats! They seem to have cabins both fore and aft, huge anchors for canal boats and they carry their cars with them. Do they live aboard? many questions from Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. Love your videos, never miss one.

      Most of inland boats have cabins on both sides.. crews are mostly changing shifts every 3 weeks and some of them are taking car on board for changing or cpt have his own personal. You can many times see ships where families are living too :)

      Those ships are made for rivers like Rijn, Elbe etc so thats the reason why they have "big" anchors.
