Thanks for the info on rooting lemon verbena! I've got one that had two main "trunks" over 8 feet tall when I moved into my house. Unfortunately a gardener "pruned" one down to the base and the other "trunk" flopped over and now impedes the sidewalk. I've been dragging my feet on cutting it to clear the sidewalk but if I can propagate it first I won't feel so bad.

@@TheGardeningArtist No luck so far, but I'll try again in the spring. Fortunately new growth has appeared at the base. Thanks for the info and the encouragement!

Thank you for this information and video. Question: My lemon verbena leave never grow as large as yours (!!) . What do you do to grow the leaves to such a large size? Should l use organic fertilizer? What kind of soil do you use? I would appreciate your tips! :)

Mary Raab I honestly used the cheapest soil I could find and I’ve done nothing special. It’s possible I may have a different lemon verbena plant than you. I’m not sure if there are other stains though. The plant I had while living in Germany had large leaves like this one too.
Perhaps get a miracle grow or magic dirt those bands tend to have a self fertilizer in there that lasts a while and they might work pretty well to help your leaves get bigger.
