Another thing all of the fakes I've seen have in common is that they used the online image Wizards released, so still have the diagonal rainbow effect on it to indicate its foiling, but the actual card's art is clean and doesnt look foil at all, except for the gold foil text boxes and script on the ring. You can see this in the video where they show it off.

There is 0 chance that the back is unique. That would make authentication impossible. If both sides are impossible to reference against another card, then there is no way to say it is real.

But I feel like if there is only 1 REAL copy in the world, then players should go all or nothing on the theme and cast it back into the fiery volcano from whence it came.

Booster packs were 2.45 back in 1990 adjusted for inflation it'd be 5.45 per pack. Nowadays it's 3.99, meaning, they have fallen in price. People back then had to spend more of their income to purchase a single pack than today.

However the cards were more expensive to produce and less of them. Here's the thing, if you truly did pull a 1/1 you'd put it in protective casing, lock it in a vault, and never touch or look at it. So, why not get a high quality fake and just enjoy the card? Imagine playing a MTG game and whipping it out all casual like, lol!

What i did was simply make colour copies cut them out and glued them on commons just to play with him. I never tried to pass them as real as that is against the law and can land you in serious trouble. But i had someone visiting me seeing my magic book binder that he wanted to see... I chuckled and knew he would be going pale for a sec when he saw all those proxies in my binder lolzors. power 9 check , all dual lands check , basically all expensive cards from vintage sets prior to 1996. If they had been real i would be rich. Wonder still though i lost contact with that friend after an argument but from time to time i wonder if he still has them because then he is a millionaire for sure.

There is 0 chance that the back is unique. That would make authentication impossible. If both sides are impossible to reference against another card, then there is no way to say it is real.
