Having said that, the Evoque that got through 3ft needs a round of applause.
Key is to go in slowly and exit out slow. That’s the manufacturers advice too and that’s how these Land and range rovers are tested.

They are beasts but they're not the rarest things, that was a forward control 101 ex army they had V8s great trucks, my dads mate had one and he said it was extremely powerful saw a few at Peterborough LRO show the second one is a civilian model, looks like someone has built it as a camper very cool

It’s planned to re-open in June next year; this is some old footage + some unused 👍🏼
It's still shut, I actually used to commute through it every day so it's a bit of a pain being shut!

The evoque and discovery sport clearly aren’t real rovers
If you got a snorkeling device on your Air filters, ie its up at roof level, you will stand a better chance of not causing a hydraulic lock in the engine of a diesel engine one.
It's the same for petrol engines.
Apparently people do not understand physics
One night in the rain I hit a flooded underpass while driving a Renault 10. It was like hitting a brick wall. But the engine being in the back I was able to drive out :)

@@dot7107 It's been closed for a long time, I did hear on a different video of a potential reopening in April 2025 but who knows. I know Ben, Tom and a few others use other locations now for filming

Plus it was just attracting too many people for the wrong reasons , Ie blasting through just for cameras .

The key is to have a proper Range Rover. None of that Evoque or Sport nonsense. A proper Range Rover with ground clearance will do the trick

Every single landy could make it through this deep ford but alot drive like idiots through it. I get it uf you have a snorkel but god damm just go through it properly 😂 altho even thi some of the trucks suck up water and stop they are going again in 10m 😂 land rovers are ridiculously unkillable i love them 😂

Considering land rovers supposedly are unreliable , not a single one got stuck in the water unlike isotherm wannabe 4x4s , yes couple of them had trouble as they come out of the water due to the soft squidgy organic bit behind the wheel and there stupidity showing off , but proof Land Rover , Range Rover are very capable off roaders , and yes I do own a Range Rover have done for years and no I wouldn’t dream of having anything else .

Also: If you are a poor peasant who can't afford Land Rover but want to comfort yourself, buy a second hand Toyota and pretend you buy for "reliability" not that you can't afford a better car
