The low-key genius engineering in this video: being able to troubleshoot the hopper and adjustable vacuum redirect for loading balls, belt pulley changes, ESC tuning, clever printed hinges and clips for the hopper. Ivan could teach an engineering school entirely using his projects.
Your great can-do attitude and insistence to 3D print everything is awesome! It looks like you have the track speed and power but you're losing traction on the concrete. If you end up getting traction by changing sufaces or coating the tracks, you might actually find some weak points
TPU (basically rubber) is 3D printable, it's a bit soft but that's okay. Having some TPU cleats for the tracks would help with traction on slick surfaces.
Love how the parts fit so well together and nothing is overcomplicated. Wouldn't a V-pulley with a tensioner be better for the drive? Less chance that everything self-destructs when something gets stuck.
Honestly you are one of my favorate makers on youtube and I kind of want to see you design and build a 3d printed APC or tank that is modeld after something in real life. And build a bunch of them and then you will have an arcenal of awsome things you built
Hey Ivan, You did an incredible job, congrats! In case you want to increase the range of the cannon, take a look at how the airsoft hop up chambers work 🙂
Hi Ivan!! I really really love your videos and all your projects, especially the ones where you build 3d printers and cnc machines. I had this idea for a while now and I thought I'd share it, but is it actually possible to build a resin printer?
Really neat project, thanks for the video! Just wondering, do you think a desktop sized consumer-grade 3d-printer, with a steel extrusion nozzle, printing with a spool of nylon/carbon fiber could make strong enough subassemblies for something the size of your (abs?) tank? Also curious, how did you get the treads to hold up? They seem pretty robust.
If that could cut n blow grass you'd be a millionaire by Lunchtime. Ivan you just get better and better at this. You're SO MUCH FUN to watch - and congratulations for promoting those fabulous T-Shirts! The first ones I've ever seen on RUclips that I'd actually buy, and will try to : )
Ivan embracing chaotic energy checklist - Talking with himself ✅ - Cut shots mid sentence ✅ - Drive a giant vehicle in an enclosed space ✅ - Don't acknowledge hitting furniture ✅ - Forget tools inside dangerous equipment ✅ - Casually create a hole in concrete ✅ - Fix design problems without understanding how the fix works ✅ - Everything is a drum ✅
I‘m so happy, that someone also appreciates these moments, coz most people write something boring, like “great job”, etc well obviously it’s a great job, but also Ivan is really nice, alive, self-reflecting, humorous person, whom really nice to watch Also your checklist is hilarious, you picked every point precisely 😂

Watching Ivan's videos makes me feel like I'm living my life wrong... I need to step up my maker game!
your AV confirms there's something wrong with your life. lol
Impressive work of great ingenuity and art !

yeah. i was thinking if he put some hard rubber cleats on he would probably break a track, theres a lot of slack/play in it
TPU (basically rubber) is 3D printable, it's a bit soft but that's okay. Having some TPU cleats for the tracks would help with traction on slick surfaces.
"I'm not in the mood of starting a new giant 3D pr..." 🤣 Well done m8, well done
Nice job, just wondering if you could have put the barrel just above your shoulder, if it would look more like a normal tank
Love how the parts fit so well together and nothing is overcomplicated.
Wouldn't a V-pulley with a tensioner be better for the drive? Less chance that everything self-destructs when something gets stuck.
Love your enthusiasm. Really befitting the all caps title.
Nice vid 🙂
Incredible, just when I think it can't get any better!!!!
Awesome job!!!

All of Europe: "Hey! Why can't we find any red filament!??"
Ivan: "Uh....."
I love your work. Great job
Congradulations on a 3D printed Drifting Tank!!! It looks like alot of fun!
Hey Ivan, You did an incredible job, congrats! In case you want to increase the range of the cannon, take a look at how the airsoft hop up chambers work 🙂
I love the hopper and all its smart prints within
So much power, so little traction. The movements in the beginning reminded me of a hovercraft :D
That latch mechanism is just so beautifully engineered, I love it!
Incredible work and so much fun :D
i love your enthusiasm. the work you do is inspiring too.
I love your elegant design solutions
Ok ok...this is amazing. Please tell us you're going to sell the plans/design/models whatever for this beast!!! PLEASE!!!
4:15 That latch/lock/spring mechanism it just awesome. And also this one 4:54. Definitely i am going to use those ideas.
Wild. Congratulations on building it.
Fantastic work, Ivan! 😃
Really well done!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Can’t wait to see the final product of the tank! Keep it up, I truly believe this will be this reason your channel blows up!
your designs are incredible smart 😮
If you have children, do not let them see this, you'll never get to ride it again! LOL too cool!
Amazing engineering!
It was a pleasure to watch:) thank you!
Impressive tour of the problems
Thanks for sharing your experience with all of us 👍😀
10:02 I guess you you could add the tank to your music machine :-D
A smile on mu face the whole time! Cheers!
Awesome. Fantastic improvements.
Failure succesfully complete! Time to fix it - great job as always.
This guy definitely has a spot in heaven with a great view of all technology waiting for him.
This would be brilliant as a paintball cannon 😄
Cool Drift tank!
Always a treat Ivan.
it would be cool if you made a front cockpit , like an enclosed area for the person
Well done Ivan!!! The wait was totally worth it.
Need some ninjaflex or chinchilla treads added to the tracks for grip :)
Awesome video. Love the engineering. All the hardware designed from scratch. Mahalo for sharing! 🙂🐒🤙
Awesome! Now build a covered cockpit with camera systems and sensors and whatnot >:)

Newer knew I needed a giant 3D printed tank…
Nice. You found the solution.
You crack me up, such great mind you have.
Love the Energy! Nice video ;-)
amazing cad skills!
This is amazing. I love it.
Imagine showing up at Chuck E Cheese with one of these bad boys. The kinds in the ball pit won't know what hit them.
Love you videos, such a great combo of playfulness and sheer competence
Fast and Furious 20: Tank Gonna Drift
Confirmed 😂
love all the clips and mechanical bits on this one, well done! :)
the hopper make it look a little like a KV-2 tank
Pisses me of how good you are sometimes 🤣
whats the next upgrade ? sooo cool this project !!! if i had the time i make one myself
You should build an autonomous ball collection robot next
Ivan over here building his own pla military for when he starts his own country.
what filament do you use for the black bolt clips for the hopper!? Love your stuff!
Reminds me of Takeshi's Castle end cut
That was so fun to watch
So when do these start production?
The only thing left to do is to create a ball collector ^^
Will ever be stls for this?
Fantástico. Eres un crack!!
Amazing!
We knew this was coming haha.
you can make a wire out of straight solder? this seems horrifying to me, not sure why
Brilliant
Really neat project, thanks for the video!

I'd be surprised if he's printing ABS at that size. Warping would be a nightmare. It's probably all PLA.
you should put rubber on the tracks for traction.
Bolt the BFG on!
No tienes canal en español..Saludos tienes mi like pero si lo traduce a tu lengua natal te lo agradezco yo y muchos mas
Иван на Марс собрался👻 👍, Отличный проект
The raft for the hopper ate more filament then 99% of my prints use et al. o_0
Some people are awesome!
While you are successfully printing these giant objects, I am struggling with my stupid Ender 3 bed levelling.
I think next build is a cab

but where is the robot that picks all those balls up from the shop floor ?
Initial D intensifies.
I still think that the revolver should be slower so you have a lower fire rate. A real tank takes time to aim and shoot one shot. That’s a machine gun
- 👍 👍 🔧 - 👀
I’d be willing to pay a few hundred buck for those CAD drawings to make my own
this would be awsome in a nerf war ngl
Take a trip to a bank :)
Only a matter of time until Ivan becomes obsessed with a woman named Sarah Connor.
🔥💕👍
Aresoft 2.0 ultra max.
Take it outside that shops too small
🤣👍
good job friend . do you can sent to me 3d printer . i can't buy one and i'm dream one
and now, make another...
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sigh. You didn't use a single spacer.
Please stop using all-caps in the titles.
WHY? HOW IS THAT A PROBLEM? sORRY for caPS
The algorithm demands *CAPS!* ALL HAIL THE ALGORITHM!
Do you want him to get less views?
IS THAT WRONG USING CAPS IN THE TITTLES ?
I just very much dislike these all-caps titles. It feels as if I would be screamed at by my monitor.
The vacuum feature on the hopper is genius.
