The fear of dying alone seems to be a subject that many people can identify with, yet I'm sure many don't even realize it's an underlying factor in their lives and the choices they make. I've come to accept the fact that I will die alone, so I've been planning accordingly. Happens to people every day, and the world doesn't give so much as a shrug. At this point, it seems to be more of a reality/inevitability than a tragedy.
@@jamk2668 Strange ... We all die eventually yet each of us does it alone in the end. what I mean is 200 people could die in a plane crash yet each death was singular to each individual on a personal level. You know what I mean ?
A musician and a writer. Just like me and my younger sister. I can't imagine losing another sister, I've lost two to cancer but to suicide? That would ruin me. This looks like an excellent film. I wish I could see it but I'm afraid to go to theaters....
some people have WAY toooo much time to sit around and ponder the sadness of the past, rather than just ripping off the band-aid and getting on.. and I speak from experience.
Sarah Gadon is like Paul Dano, they are hugely underrated
True!
Yes! Finally, somebody said it. I truly have no idea why, as she ticks both the talent and superficial looks boxes.
It was an incredible movie. I’m glad to have seen this in a theatre.
I am going to have to watch this if for no other reason but to see if they explain why the father takes his glasses off.
omg LMAO !
It speaks to his character. He's organised, careful with money, meticulous.
Actually from what I’ve read, it’s quite common for those who die by suicide to first remove their glasses

When people say this, many times it's connected to them feeling lonely as opposed to actually being alone.

@@Wildstar40 yes! I do not understand why people are afraid of death, death fascinates me.

@@grievingcommonsense... that one Theater shooting that resulted in 12 people being shot to death. It’s just never been the same after that…
@@The-Portland-Daily-Blink I'm sorry to hear that. I hope one day you can just enjoy them again, without gaving to worry
It’s on Amazon Prime now. Still very powerful, even on the small screen! (June ’22)
Well, this looks like a Laff Riot, but with Sarah Gadon and Donal Logue, I'm gonna have to see it.
Looks very good. Alison Pil and Mare Winnigham are awesome.

Wow, good and great
Something I'm definitely gonna watch as a fan of Alison
I like her on Star Trek Picard, it would be interesting to see her in a dramatic movie.
Exelente 😘🤗
Where are the superheroes & wizards? Kidding. Looks really good.
This seems like a film not for the faint of heart or brainwashed of fandom.

i'd call it "too much memory" before i'd say "too much time"
It's about people who suffer from suicidal depression. Having too much time has nothing to do with it.
@@mgwynnjones you obviously know a lot about the issue. Did you even read the last part of my comment?
They already did this movie...Romancing the Stone.
Pretty sure there are no Allen Quartermain style theatrics at play here, just uncut consequence and reconciliation.
boring lifetime movie
