- What can I say its been a busy year so far exploring so many trails and this one is still settling in on how unreal this giant among giants is! I been so excited to make this video and finally bring you all a little closer to the majestic Grizzly Giant!
Stay tuned in the next few weeks ill be posting more videos on other giant tree adventures in a mini series of sorts all about Sequoias and Coast Redwood and eventually a video on the differences of the two!

If the Grizzly Giant seems like a beast, there's coast redwoods that dwarf it. Presently the widest and tallest trees in the USA are at the coast near Humboldt and Del Norte. Example: ruclips.net/video/5Q4v8VbNyOg/видео.html

I been on the hunt for some of those trees you mention in your videos but alas I have failed I need more time to explore the various parks up there! Also glad you reached out because I wanted to clarify, you are saying the the general Sherman is NOT the largest by volume tree?

I've seen some big trees before but everything pales into insignificance when you look at these. Just walking around the base was amazing but at 3K years old that just blew me away, what a majestic site, cheers Alan

What’s the hike like from the parking lot to grizzly giant?
I’m glad you asked!! The walk was mellow with a slight upgrade! From the parking lot there is a trail called the Washburn trail that will connect you to the big trees loop and the grizzly loop!
Mariposa Grove gets extra points for being in Yosemite
