In today's video we take a deep examination of the character future Vegeta. The life of Future Vegeta has never been fully revealed. We are aware that he died against Android 17 and Android 18. Other than that what has he done? In today's video Qaaman analyzes a side chapter from Dragon Ball Super and compares it with what we know from Dragon Ball Z.
Honestly if Vegeta had stayed in space and kept training and laying low there could have been a better chance to defeat the Androids later on. Though knowing Vegeta's cockiness and pride and not being able to sense the Androids power i doubt he would listen and just get killed anyway.
So why do you think he came back?
@@QaamansLandI feel like it would be likely he was worried sensing the energy of so many people being snuffed out and not wanting Bulma to be killed as well but, there's also the possibility of Vegeta being bitter over Goku dying and wanting to prove he can still be better than Goku but, sadly just getting killed by the Androids in the end.
What about his Saiyan pride to fight something strong?
@@QaamansLand I feel like that too also factors into it as well since being in space for so long without a challenge would make him frustrated and want to rush back to Earth and let his pride and lust for fighting cause his ego to get in the way and underestimate the androids power even with Super Saiyan which it could be assumed he rushed to Earth after he achieved it as well which would fit his character at that point.

I think had Mr.popo told future gohan and future trunks about the hyperbolic time chamber then they would've killed the androids on there own.
They would've destroyed both of those Androids with a Masenko at the same time
Tbh there are a looot of ways that this future could be saved. Like...even before Goku died. You could just grab Shenron and say "hey uh..so we need Goku. Can you make a medicine for him"? Boom, he survives the virus. And don't NOBODY tell me Shenron can't make no damn medicine. He can create a planet. I'm sure medicine is in his reach lol. The only way this wouldn't work is if, for whatever reason, somebody used the Dragon Balls right before Goku became sick, and he died quickly (not surviving a year.) And maybe King Kai didn't step in since he only connects through Goku (odd because Tien, Yamcha, Chiaotzu and Piccolo have connections to King Kai too...). And there is always New Namek but nobody apparently knows where it is without King Kai and Goku using instant transmission.
I’m pretty sure Mr Popo was killed by the androids. Remember in super when future yajirobe explained how he survived when they attacked the tower and killed future Korin.
@@6ramz2 Yeah but they show future Yajirobe as having died so Super just created a plothole. The Androids had no reason to go to Karinto, they liked destroying cities and humans in general. Toriyama really messed up by not specifying if Karinto was destroyed or why nobody reached out to them from otherworld.

I imagine in that moment when vegeta was sitting alone while the others gathered around gokus dead body,vegeta had to have been taking it hard that he was truly the last of his kind. At least when goku was alive, there was someone he could sorta relate to, but now all that was left were their children, who were nothing like the people he was meant to rule.

let's acknowledge that Kami could see this even before Z started but he was more Focusing on Piccolo

Tbh they need to make a ova or a special chapter that explains what happened in the future timeline at least until 17&18 are awaken I think that would be nice and interesting
I’ve always loved how the Future Z-Fighters fought the opposite Androids that they fought in the present, for example Future Vegeta fought Android 17 where as he fought 18 in the present. Piccolo fought 18 in the Future & obviously he fought 17 in the present in one of the greatest fights in the entire series. Also I know Mike from LSM made a video about this but I wonder how much stronger the present androids were that the future ones? It seems like a decent amount, I had a theory that the future androids were around the level of 19 & 20 but after some debate I’m not so sure about that theory anymore.

Exactly especially knowing his connection to Kami/dragon balls. He coulda still fused with kami then as the fused namek contact king Kai and either then contact new namek to wish back Goku or to discuss with them about sending a new guardian to earth…either way he shoulda demonstrated more wisdom as the wits of kami too

If he was a super saiyan then this means Future Vegeta died as the first ssj failure since Goku beat frieza and Cold in this Timeline. I'd pay money to see Vegetas inner monologue at Yemmas station or a what if future Vegeta survived story.

Bulma is a big fat lier. Bulma has been flirting with Vegeta ever since they got back to Earth from Namek. We also see Bulma accuse Yamcha of cheating back in Dragonball when he didn't. We also know Bulma isn't pure of heart. We know she lies. So we know Future Bulma is a big fat lier when she told Future Trunks the story about Yamcha and Vegeta.
This is why I hate Dragon Ball Super. Not only is the timeline completely messed up but way too much unnecessary BS was added to the series.
Dragon Ball story was perfectly fine the way it was. It was originally a very intense story with a lot of sad and serious moments and many character growths. They should of just left it the way it was.
DBS ruined everything by introducing all the bs with the gods, taking advantage of people nostalgia by bringing back all the past villains and characters, and making up new BS that puts you to sleep every episode.
To be honest I'd always assumed that the Future Androids were weaker because of a Lack of Maintenence over the years, I mean - machinery wears out and deteriorates over time and the Future Androids are using their powers to blow people up for shits and giggles constantly so I thought "They're stronger than in my time" was more easily explained by them being "Fresh off the line" in the main timeline, and since they were good guys after that they had people like Bulma to keep them from wearing out.
Though again, this was always an assumption of mine to explain that remark from trunks in my head.
They were actually never weaker, this was a misconception by Trunks. The Future Androids were just holding back the whole time. They showed their true power when Future Trunks returned after the Cell Games.
Qaaman i have one other what if, what if Captain changed bodies like he did with Tagoma to help future Trunks.

Yeah he still went to Yardrat, the theory is that he kills Mecha Freiza/King Cold by using instant transmission to stop them.
But in the original timeline Trunks jumps in since he's unaware of instant transmission existing

In order for everyone to get slaughtered, suddenly Super Saiyans were weak.
Did future Vegeta challenge Goku before he became ill? After Goku killed Frieza and Cold in the future timeline, Vegeta would definitely be training hard to reach super saiyan and to surpass Goku. I don’t think it took him the whole 3 years or even 2 to reach that level, but he was definitely training hard just so he can have the advantage over Goku. It’s not stated in the manga or the anime if they had their rematch, but I feel like they did and whoever won, it still made them somewhat closer before the inevitable.
For real, I wonder that myself. I wonder if Vegeta might have even bonded a bit with Goku before his passing. That three years is very vague.

@@powerlevelguy8054 In the original Anime he was (Future of Trunks special) and in Ghosts from Tomorrow episode he was SSJ...he was shown to be bare in Dragon Ball Super's manga but that never confirmed if he was a SSJ or not, he might have just been worn out.
@@mrm64 Yeah, the anime definitely depicts him as a Super Saiyan. You'd think if he achieved the state in the manga it would be spelled out. Considering we never get any evidence to suggest he was, it's pretty safe to assume he didn't have it.
@@powerlevelguy8054 Ehh but it works both ways though. It's never confirmed that he didn't achieve it. Vegeta in all timelines was envious of Goku and I'm sure he went to train after he saw future Goku kill Freeza and King Cold. I mean, that's enough motivation for me lol. I'd like to think either he just reached the form and then Goku died right before he could challenge him (that "Kakarot...no...." says it all in movie), OR he achieved it before Goku died and maybe the sparred a bit (I'd like to believe that).
Would not be surprised if theres more universes out there where Vegeta is evil than ones where he's good.

Also, if we assume the android didn't find our heroes immediately, a few cities might have been wiped off the map, and vegeta sensed that.

@QaamansLand it's my theory as to how he would end up finding out about the androids.
We see that saiyans can have quite the appetite, Goku eats a lot, Super Broly ate a ton of spider eggs, and they prepeared meat in...(super broly and db minus?)
So if vegeta didn't sense the raise in ki from everyone.
His one reason to return would be to get food, etc.
🤔 and his one connection would be Bulma.
While he could just take what he wants, by this point in the story, he is calming down.
One thing I'm not sure about, though, is the whole space thing... there's points thay imply Saiyans can't breathe in space... but also points in the story where they seem to be training in an environment that's space...

It took a while for vegeta to warm up to future trunks. I think future vegeta would have been a dead beat, expecially in the dialog when majin vegeta and goku was fighting and he let the evil take over because he thought he was getting soft and didn't want a family, he was but in the future that's what he would have did. It took a lot of developing to change vegeta's heart.
18 probably went all in on him in that timeline.

So that means the androids are as strong as the main time line ones,since in the anime the only time they used full power before trunks goes to the past is with gohan,but trunks couldnt sense or see that ,and the other time they probably used full power was with the trained trunks form the main time line.They are equal as strong,but the future ones are more confident.

Vegeta probably could get Super saiyan by raging over Goku's death, since Goku was his only inspiration to keep his pride and training.
He's not. Vegeta never was able to attain it. It fits the timeline much better if he does not reach it.
@@sedarium5307 Probably not. I think Goku's death discouraged Vegeta from training as surpassing Kakarot was his life's goal at the time. Without him there, the desire to train like a madman is not there either.

It makes no sense that future vegeta lost because present vegeta trained in space and got stronger than Goku would. In the manga, it was implied Gohan never got as strong as Goku and that later on, trunks also implied he fought on par with the androids.
Even with training in space Vegeta got wrecked by 18. He still would lose.
@@QaamansLand In the manga, the reason stated as to why Vegeta didn't win against 18 in the present timeline because she had infinite ki. Otherwise, he was on par with her.
If we were to assume their points of progression were the same, Vegeta in the future would've been as strong as has in the present and absolutely wreck the androids because the present androids were supposedly stronger and he was doing fine until fatigued settled in.
There are some points you made that I have to address in a future video.
One key point is 18 was holding back.
@@QaamansLand Actually, rereviewing, this contradiction is worse than I thought. The evidence that states that 18 and vegeta was on par was specifically meant for anime viewership only because the manga contradicts that notion entirely.

seeing that people like frieza and king cold were just entering hell (and when we consider what hell looks like according to the buu saga and movies and ignore super), I feel like it might be possible that king yama saw that vegeta had at least one or two redeeming qualities and had him sent to hell but with his body and memories intact to serve as something like a constable.

The anime version of hell isn't canon, every villain that died must have their own versions of hell. Frieza being tortured by plushies and fairies is hell for him, then the other villains must be tortured some other way.

All the z fighter was killed by the androids and gohan Kept fighting for his life to avenged them all And a sad part is he was killed by 17 and 18 All I can say is I'm very proud of gohan

Myself the only time we see Vegeta isn't possibly a Super Sayian is in the new stills that show more of the fight with the Androids that Vegeta may not have been a Super Sayian but every other version he is one. And my theory about that still is the battle was pretty over by that point and Vegeta along with the rest of tge Z Fighters was beaten down too much to turn into a Super Sayian anymore. Normally when we see fights in the series it's one on one so when the Future Trunks timeline if all Z Fighters showed up at the same time as the still indicates I think Piccolo and Vegeta would have started the off against 17 and 18 both probably were beaten back then the remaining Z Fighters jumped in and a melee ensued witj everyone beaten down before Piccolo sent Gohan off on his plan for the Dragon Balls.
If Vegeta stays in space his survival isn’t insured. The androids would kill the ZFighters but will eventually lose to and get absorbed by Cell who will destroy the earth and search out the strongest power in the universe to fight which will lead him to Vegeta
Can you answer a question for me ? If Future Piccolo fuses with Kami . Don’t that mean he is strong enough to kill the androids because wasn’t it stated that a Super Namekian was stronger that SSJ.
Yes he would be weaker than present Piccolo since he didn’t train very serious before Androids came. He would still be stronger than the androids.
Future Vegeta most likely did not achieve Super Saiyan in the manga. He seemingly had a very difficult time achieving it in the first place for the present timeline. When he transforms, he goes through extreme effort, more on par with a Saiyan that has not acquired Super Saiyan of free will, then of a Super Saiyan who has attained the form of free will. Vegeta barely pulled it off in the present timeline. Also, in the Super manga, he is depicted in his Base form in the one panel we got. Future Vegeta is also suggested to be as strong as Yardrat Goku in the guides, which is possible barring he didn't reach Super Saiyan, as it is Goku the Super Saiyans look towards reaching in power, not Vegeta.
1) Super is trash 2) Future Vegeta became an SSJ because he was jealous seeing Goku become one and killing Frieza and Cold easily when they came to Earth.

your overview in reguards to hell is missing key factors - hell isnt eternal nor is heaven hell is punishment repentence earns a second chace ( rebirth ) heaven is a wait in bliss before a second chance ( rebirth ) those who go to hell and have not been or will be granted a second chance are sent straight their body and all villians with too much strength are simply sent to hell and not clensed then sent to wait hence the reason their are souls as smoke and those who have their bodies in both heaven and hell .

Future vegeta like the others are weaker compare to the present counterparts that they didn't know that goku had contract the virus and since there was no cure, there wasn't anything they can do for him, then six months later where the androids came out of nowhere, the z fighters didn't know they exist and were unprepared and even if vegeta train, his level is no where near strong as his present counterpart. The z fighters were probably hunted down and then killed after realizing trying to team up and gang up on the androids wasn't a good idea since androids take sheer pleasure to blow things up and create misery for the humans who are terrified and can't even fight back, this is bo different, in the present time,17 and 18 took out two warrior with absolutely no problem and without killing them while the future counterparts have the hatred psychotic instinct and have the urge to kill due to be force of being converted into a killing machine and with the unlimited supply of power they have with the added effect of being delinquents they feel that nobody could stop them, plus dr gero didn't shut them down and modified their programming. In terms of how the z fighters were killed, the special was probably head canon while the episode was interpretation from trunks since he was a baby at that times he did not know how the z fighters were killed and same goes for the trubks and gohan who fought the androids together. The z fighters was struggling against the androids together so they probably thought that splitting up was an idea otherwise, the androids would just delivered a one group kill with an explosion but they end being hunted one by one. Its possible that three of the fighters were struck physically but their stubbornness kept them going, only to be blasted, one probably did survive the blast but struck down with two energy beams. The rest got killed with one struck down by a heavy blow and the others were killed off screen. Trunks started with his father's death because it was the one person that was taken away he never got to know or spend

I will clarify, Frieza didn't go to hell in dragon ball super. Frieza was in heaven, King Yemma said that frieza would enjoy hell too much so he sent Frieza to heaven.
That was Dabura, not Frieza.

@@QaamansLand I was just always under the impression that they were always playing around with gohan and it was akin to two 7 years olds bullying a 4 year old, 1 is more than enough but 2 make it more fun for both. 17 was enough to kill gohan but they double teamed it for more entertainment, the fact they could’ve killed him in one big shot but decided to use several little blasts which would inflict more suffering helps prove that, I think.
What about 18? What if Gohan just had to fight her?
@@QaamansLand i don’t see much of a strength disparity between 17 and 18, if anything despite being slightly weaker 18 showing more of a seriousness in her personality than 17 may give gohan more of problems, she’s demonstrated more brutality iirc.
