Very good! Ambient and deep... But Maria Franz, the (excellent!) woman singer, was the singer of Euzen too. I'm fan of Euzen and a bit sad to see she has make choice another road... Good luck anyway for her.

Vikings uses music by Wardruna, for the most part, but with a few other performers thrown in...including a few cases in which they used Inuit throat singing. Einar Selvik (the lead singer of Wardruna) plays traditional instruments and does not use as much digital effects as these people do...in fact, there are a few videos of him on RUclips in which he doesn't use amplification at all!
Heilung is a great band, but don't get the idea that listening to them will connect you to some great "pagan" past. Their vocal style and instrumentation are entirely modern (in fact, properly speaking this is rap) and their costumes are meant to evoke some lost Bronze or Iron Age civilization but are entirely fanciful and are slightly derivative of the regalia of some Native American cultures. If you want something truly ancient and pre-Christian, I highly recommend Inuit throat singing or Saami yoiking or some of the Jewish religious music they have here on RUclips...but nonetheless, this is a great anti-war song!
Good points, Sarah. Many people want to connect with their ancestors and be validated. Europe is being transformed by immigrants that have no awareness of European history or the struggles of its people's against earlier invasions such as that of the Romans and other tribes. This music and theatrical presentations provide a romantic idea of those times. It is all a theatrical and nostalgic joy to behold.
