This video came at an opportune time when I needed help with processing the elections results and my feelings about them. We watched your video in my women's Bible study and appreciated the scripture and balanced view and the call for us as Christians to pray for our leaders. "No matter how you feel right now...to anchor and filter your feelings through the word of God." I needed to hear this! Thank you!
@@karenstevenson5298 to God be every ounce of glory! He is sovereign over the affairs of mankind! He is actively working EVERYTHING according to His good and perfect will! God bless you!
It’s interesting I spoke a very similar message to some people and talked about the nationalistic Christianity that is running rampant… encouraging believers to go back to the teaching of Jesus and seek first the kingdom. I got called the antichrist, a false prophet, a wolf, because I suggested we just be careful that we elevate an elected official to the status of savior.. I like to think about the early church, they weren’t very involved in politics until the joining of church and state with Constantine. Several christians told me God won’t save me and told me that I have the devil in my for even suggesting that we should be careful with how we approach politics… Anyways.. Thanks for posting this video!
Thank you for sharing this! Yes, Politics is definitely an idol amongst some Christians; when you attempt to address it, they will definitely fight back. Praying for your resolve to speak the truth even in the midst of opposition 🙏
Very encouraging for the body of Christ! For both sides of the fence and both past and future! It will always be in His hands. Without Christ, the world is hopeless regardless of if our candidate won or not. Pray without ceasing!
@@Mr.conserv Thank you for your comment. This video wasn’t about who would be a better Christian; your question implies the merit for performance based Christianity - that’s antithetical to the tenants of the Gospel.. The purpose of this video was to elevate the sovereignty of God over the affairs of man - elections, politics, governments, etc. We are saved by grace alone - not our vote or candidate. Have a blessed rest of your day 🙏
Hey, thanks for the quick reply; I totally understand where you’re coming from with your question - I think it’s a fair question to ask… We often compare the ‘level’ of someone’s faith using the wrong measures; I was only pointing to their error of merit based Christianity in the implications of your question… On a practical level - a testimonial level - what makes a Christian’s testimony credible and strong before man is the fruit produced from their confession of faith… This election was fruitless to say the least lol At the end of the day - in the absence of personal fruit - one has to vote their conscience on the fruit of policy. America elected Trump - the Lord selected Trump. God bless 🙏
@@julieroyston1729 God bless you and thank you for offering your thoughts. Unfortunately, you’re trying to elevate a person’s vote above the finished work of Christ; that’s not Biblical at all, friend.

1000000% Without Christ, there's no hope!! God bless!
Why would Kamala be better than Trump as a Christian?

@@tdp.ivhisglory nothing against your video, as I was watching the question came to mind.
@@tdp.ivhisglory I agree with the video! I was just curious because there are Christians on both sides

If you are upset, you are NOT a believer.
