No disrespect, but…it is kinda disrespectful to not at least hear the other artists out. Even if you now hear it on your own time, it’s not the same as reacting to it. Think of it this way, imagine if you never heard of J. Monty and he was a feature on a song, but the artist that you actually came to the song for finished their verse before him, and you cut it off early, and never discovered J.Monty because you just left the song in the middle. Like if you just came for Lecrea and cut it off there. I’m not guaranteeing that the other artists would’ve matched Monty (he’s incredible) BUT, you could potentially miss out on great up-and-coming rappers (like Monty) that way. That’s all I’m saying.

It’s interesting I spoke a very similar message to some people and talked about the nationalistic Christianity that is running rampant… encouraging believers to go back to the teaching of Jesus and seek first the kingdom. I got called the antichrist, a false prophet, a wolf, because I suggested we just be careful that we elevate an elected official to the status of savior.. I like to think about the early church, they weren’t very involved in politics until the joining of church and state with Constantine. Several christians told me God won’t save me and told me that I have the devil in my for even suggesting that we should be careful with how we approach politics… Anyways.. Andy is a gifted lyricist and there have been many opinions regarding his heart (which is not up for speculation but for prayer). We have to not just pray for their hearts (regarding the need for secular approval) but for our discernment when listening to these artists. I have been listening to CHH for well over a decade and some of it leans too much to the secular but that is revealed by the Holy Spirit . Keep doing this Bro because we as followers of Christ need to examine what we take in. Grace and Peace.

I feel like so many CHH guys want the validation of the secular world and it’s unfortunate. The behavior is very much like Nick Canon’s character Al Johnson from “Love don’t cost a thing” where they get alittle popularity and forget themselves and in this case the Lord.
