Loved the reorganization video, well done for doing it in one day! I know what you mean about the consumerism, it feels like you’re not even a proper reader if you only read 10 books a year, or even less. Even though it should matter that we all just enjoy reading! I find it so hard to find books I enjoy these days, and then I think, ‘do I not like reading anymore?’ But when I get down to the core I just need to focus on my enjoyment of reading and not anything else. Thanks for being a conscious booktuber, always love your videos!

i agree that the book community is becoming more and more about consumerism… not only that, but it also feels like publishers are trying to get out as many books as possible to the audiences and focusing more on tropes than quality. i’ve just accepted that there are times when I won’t feel like reading as much and it’s completely fine! reading is supposed to be my safe space, i don’t want it to feel like a chore :,)
(and btw what’s the name of the website where you get your second-hand books from? i didn’t catch the name, sorry 😅)
