I feel you with your children not ‘pulling their weight’. I had two like that & was forever being told that it was my fault - I was doing too much for them. However, now they’ve left home, they both cook, clean etc & often say that I showed them how to be a good parent. That’s a win for me! Hope you’re feeling okay. I just don't know if I go way about things right sometimes and I did really go nuts last night but I was over tired and wanted to film my haul and make kids tea and I had washing still dumped on floor that I had to then do..some of it was clean and all .. so I was just not happy.... But you know him always try be honest with you all because of I was all smiles doing my haul after I just lost my rag I would feel so fake... I'm just tired and fed up at the minute but then I hate having days like that coz ultimately I'm so grateful for everything I just had a moment xx
It’s normal to feel guilty but it’s also normal to reach the end of your rope & expect them to help you a little. I only had two (would have had more if I could) but I imagine with twelve it’s never ending cooking, cleaning, laundry etc. It would be nice if they looked around & thought ‘Gee, Mum needs some help!’ Never apologise for being real, my lovely. I agree with some of the other comments. You do look worn out. Don't feel bad about getting cross because the task you asked one of your children to do had not been done. That's understandable. Maybe you should encourage the older ones to help out. But it's your family Sam, do what you feel is right. ❤

Time to sit down with the oldest Sam and ask them to help more around the house, I know I only had 3 but working full time in a job I always did loads for them but eventually had to get them to help more.
I know and it's right to teach them to do more too... Mine do help out Ryan is always first one there if you need anyone ... My eldest two do a bit ... My other teenage boys do nothing ha.. I don't expect them to be always cleaning house and things and I think I have always felt because we are a large family I have not wanted them to feel they've had to do more because there's more kids if that makes sense. We try do most of it ourselves but like last night I asked one of them to do one thing and they hadn't and I did just flip. That's when I get annoyed. Families with only one or two kids still instil chores and helping around the house in their kids I don't know why I feel because I've a big brood that I shouldn't... But ... Hopefully they will start to learn .. even just hoovering loft for me would be a big help xx

I could be a mom's assistant a few hrs a day and give you some peace of mind and relieving you and Dave of some of the routine chores. But here I am on the other side of the pond. The easiest way to stretch chicken is to shred it. I don’t know why, but it goes so far. I’m now making a pulled chicken recipe regularly, just because of that. I’m the same with my kids…I only have 2 boys that just turned 18 and 20, and it’s maddening, but I’ve done it to myself, and one of mine isn’t even grateful, or more so doesn’t realize what all is done for him. I told him he’s going to start cooking dinner once a week…which could be interesting 😂
The kids need to get their backside in gear. I grew up with a disabled mam so did hoisework from a young age and I'm now a very capable adult! Re beetroot clearly not needed when you've got 11 kids lol Love your videos ❤

Great shop and i hear u mine are between 18 and 25 and god im at the end of my teather they have special needs but they can do easy jobs my biggest bug bear is i will literally wipe sink down walk out room and walk bk in and all these pots appear my blood boils my husband said one day why do u speak so softly and polite to the neighbours i said why not he says because they have heard tour screaming swearing banging doors etc for last hour so true 😂❤

Hair colour looks fab, don’t worry about your parenting, we all do too much for our kids and we know they’re capable of doing things, but, they’re just being kids, if we weren’t there and they had to do it for themselves rest assured they’d be fine, I once told my teenage son if he needed something doing and I wasn’t there he would have to do it for himself, I got home from work and he’d put his shirt in the machine to go out in that night,,,,, just his shirt, nothing else 🤯🤣

The older ones do keep their rooms tidy but it's just odd things like emptying bin for me or hoovering stairs which is probably thing I find hardest at the moment... Ah love your videos but you need to rest too ,i honestly don't know how you cope ! My eldest is 28 !!! Still at home ,he and his girlfriend been together since school ,both in jobs but houses too expensive BUT sometimes i think just too cosy ,i like you don't like to moan but honestly empty the bin or feed the cat is a job for him 😮my twins(24yrs) both live in Manchester for work and rent so doing everything for themselves and love independence although i do send food parcels when they visit to save money. I love being their mum but God i could run off some days 😅❤
Sam sometimes you need to vent and get things off your chest and if you feel we're the ones to vent to then go ahead we'll listen and maybe give you a few solutions and some will just let you have your say that's ok we got you perhaps you and Dave can do a routine for the older ones ten and up can do a lot for themselves and the little ones just pick up their own toys but you need back up from Dave to keep it going it'll be good for them because they'll need to know how to take care of themselves once they leave home and have places of they're own take care of yourself love from Cornwall ❤❤❤❤❤❤xxxx

It's the age .my lad when he was about 15 went in his room and it felt like he stayed there till he was about 18 I call it the bedroom years hahaha. Sam i was the same as you when my children were small doing everything working full time night shift nursing as well there 35 and 39 this year and my son lives with meband i still do everything for him dont worry when he pushes me to far the air is blue lol sam you kneed to do a rota withveach child like who cleans this andbthat andvthen switch the rota over every week so they dont dovthevsame job every week and if they dont do it take awaybthere computers and lap tops also dave as well pmsl a orogamme i watch april and davey theyvhave 7 kids andbthey havebto do there chores and the older children havevto do there own washing if they dont then they have no clothes with your son with the pizza jeep the posh box and put the cheaper pizza in it also your hair looks gorgeous 😍sendingbyou all my love and God bless you Melanie xxx

Hair colour looks fab, don’t worry about your parenting, we all do too much for our kids and we know they’re capable of doing things, but, they’re just being kids, if we weren’t there and they had to do it for themselves rest assured they’d be fine, I once told my teenage son if he needed something doing and I wasn’t there he would have to do it for himself, I got home from work and he’d put his shirt in the machine to go out in that night,,,,, just his shirt, nothing else 🤯🤣
😂😂 bless him... I just want mine to have a bit more responsibility in some ways. The older ones do keep their rooms tidy but it's just odd things like emptying bin for me or hoovering stairs which is probably thing I find hardest at the moment... I feel awful now I've ranted on but I was so upset with one of them last night and if I don't say these things I feel false on my videos and I never want to make out we're perfect. I'm getting on with bedrooms at the minute and I've ragged half of my kitchen cupboards out so I am making more work for.myself 😂 x

Ah love your videos but you need to rest too ,i honestly don't know how you cope ! My eldest is 28 !!! Still at home ,he and his girlfriend been together since school ,both in jobs but houses too expensive BUT sometimes i think just too cosy ,i like you don't like to moan but honestly empty the bin or feed the cat is a job for him 😮my twins(24yrs) both live in Manchester for work and rent so doing everything for themselves and love independence although i do send food parcels when they visit to save money. I love being their mum but God i could run off some days 😅❤

Sam sometimes you need to vent and get things off your chest and if you feel we're the ones to vent to then go ahead we'll listen and maybe give you a few solutions and some will just let you have your say that's ok we got you perhaps you and Dave can do a routine for the older ones ten and up can do a lot for themselves and the little ones just pick up their own toys but you need back up from Dave to keep it going it'll be good for them because they'll need to know how to take care of themselves once they leave home and have places of they're own take care of yourself love from Cornwall ❤❤❤❤❤❤xxxx

It's the age .my lad when he was about 15 went in his room and it felt like he stayed there till he was about 18 I call it the bedroom years hahaha. All teenager are poo bags at that age,keep being you sam your great and us women can only do so much..always remember there is no such thing as the housework police lol... take time for yourself that's important for your head lol xx
I have 17 hio, adopted and foster kids at home and l know how much of a struggle it is to keep food in the house.l should just camp at the grocery store lol😂 😂

Sam i was the same as you when my children were small doing everything working full time night shift nursing as well there 35 and 39 this year and my son lives with meband i still do everything for him dont worry when he pushes me to far the air is blue lol sam you kneed to do a rota withveach child like who cleans this andbthat andvthen switch the rota over every week so they dont dovthevsame job every week and if they dont do it take awaybthere computers and lap tops also dave as well pmsl a orogamme i watch april and davey theyvhave 7 kids andbthey havebto do there chores and the older children havevto do there own washing if they dont then they have no clothes with your son with the pizza jeep the posh box and put the cheaper pizza in it also your hair looks gorgeous 😍sendingbyou all my love and God bless you Melanie xxx
