Protein Sequence to Similar Structure Search from RCSB PDB

Tutorial on three-dimensional (3D) protein and nucleic acid structure search and download for a query protein sequence through BLAST service of RCSB PDB (Research Collaboratory for Structural Bioinformatics, Protein Data Bank). The new search type use 'mmseqs2 method', similar to the BLAST method, but achieves better performance at comparable levels of sensitivity (note: description updated on July 26, 2020). Moreover, the current search method allows to combine motif search (pattern), specific structure search (PDB ID), and chemical formula search.
