Ever thought of creating magical scenes using blender ?, in this video we will create a completely procedural magical rock / rock heat up effect in blender. i am using blender 4.1 for this video but this method should work in any blender version. I have used a non destructive workflow to create this scene which is very powerful and can be used to create organic objects form any basic shape , while keeping it easy and simple enough for anyone to follow.
we'll create a cool looking material for this glowing rock from scratch, this method for making materials can be used to create so many amazing effects.

Been doing blender for 3 weeks, and this is so damn dope.
I need to make this soon, How would you make a render animation like you did where it goes from dim to bright? or is that shown in the video, I did skim through it.
I love the pace and this is amazing never thought to use noise maps like that, looking forward to more videos from this channel.

For the animation, you can simply animate the first value of the multiply node with bluish backdrop, through which we control the emission strength. shown in the video at 13:12.

the issue is that you explain what you do but miss the logical... if you know the logical it is ok but if not you just do not learn anything there.
