As a Bitcoin max I decided to change from Tangem as a single wallet to Coldcard with Sparrow as a main wallet and Tangem for small amounts. I like Sparrow as it gives me full control over my Bitcoin and I shall be operating my own node.
Ledger nano x has a bad LCD. I had now missing lines after a year with rare use. There's no possibility to change the LCD. That's a no go for this price as market leader. Nano s has same problem but here its easy to change.
Yep. Out of all my cold wallets, my Nano X is the only one that has failed on me thus far. That’s why I like Tangem. There’s not much in it that could fail
I am very new on all this and very torn on what cold wallet to get. But I do have one question? For the tangem wallet. What good is it if your phone breaks, or goes dead? That wallet will only be as good as your phone? Correct? If I don't have a phone I can access my wallet till I get a new phone. Right?
I bought a Tangem with your code. I understand that turning phone on airplane and removing sim will be more secure when activating tangem card with app. ??? Is there another step???
I don’t even do this to be honest. Not sure what you mean by another step? You must have an internet connection to activate the card, which is the step directly after recording your seed phrase.
@@cyberscrilla in a former video you explained that this is a more secure way of connecting card to the app. “Another Step” is there any more security steps to possibly do???
@@raw-earth-exploits sure, and maybe there is a slight advantage, but i don’t do it. For example, if your phone has malware, temporarily disconnecting it from the internet won’t help. Only other tips I have is do it in a private place with no cameras above you or someone looking over your shoulder
Hi, I have a question about the Keystone 3 pro, I ordered mine last week. (Through offical website) I’m from Australia, so it said 25-35 days shipping, which didn’t bother me. However I just recieved an email from them saying it’s being delivered this week, via Amazon delivery service. Is this a cause for concern? Since I purchased it from the official website? And now Amazon are delivering it? I didn’t purchase through Amazon, which would normally be a red flag in the cold storage what not to do. Kind regards Ben
Being U.K. based, I can’t buy crypto on my Tangem due to Mercuryo not having KYC. Is there a platform I can connect to Tangem so I can buy crypto from so it goes directly to the card?
I don’t necessarily recommend connecting your cold storage wallet to external platforms due to security concerns. I personally buy on exchanges and send to my cold wallet. That said, Tangem is partnering with more exchanges that may work in your country. These new exchanges should be introduced in the next app update either this month or next.
Okay, i am your fan. i watch your videos often. Now, tangem has added passphrase to their app. Remaining one more thing. Please advice them to design multi see phrase import to the app. They should design v3 to import at least 10 to 20 seed phrases and every seed phrase with passphrase setting. Hashwallet in Spain has done this and they are pulling crowd huge. Please get back to tangem to add Value to their card by design multi see import. I have 13 cold firmware wallets, I wanna have all in one card. I don't wanna be carrying different cold wallets often but with one card with multi see phrase, I can carry everything AIO. Thank you

There is no safest wallet. I recommend using a wallet with ample security, which many wallets have. So then the question becomes: “Which one provides the best user experience?” For me, that would be Tangem or the Trezor Safe 3 or even the Onekey Classic 1S
I have an Ethereum question. On the Trezor 3, can coins that are bought on Uniswap, where you buy Ethereum and swap Eth for the coin you want that is on the Ethereum blockchain be moved over to the Trezor suite cold wallet? Volt Inu is an example coin. I saw on one of your tangem videos, you manually had to put in the coins address, do we have to do the same thing for the Trezor one or can we just transfer it over since it’s an ERC 20 coin? Thanks
@@cyberscrilla thank you for the reply back. Would you be able to do a video on how to do this manually on the Trezor 3? That would be very helpful. Do they accept all Erc 20 tokens or just select ones
