@TheSecretVault 0 seconds ago The story was that the farmer and his family or atleast his son lives at that house. He got depressed and decided to commit suic**de by walking on to the train tracks infront of a train. This was such an upset for the son that he could no longer face living in the house so let it go to rot... or so the story/rumour goes.
The story does not make sense, it starts off the farmer and his family or at least his son lived at that house, he got depressed and decided to commit suicide, but who decided to commit suicide the farmer or his son by walking onto the train tracks in front of a speeding train, but was it a steam train or electric train? then the story goes on that this was such an upset for the son, but was there 2 sons? this son could no longer reside at that house anymore so that's why the house was left to go to rack and ruin, but why is there scaffolding around the building to-day? don't make any sense does it?
Ive been fitting tyres for over 20 years. That cut looks exactly like what you get if you kerb it or hit a bad pothole and get a snakebite puncture. When a knife is pushed through a tyre it goes down in a few seconds.
We have Mexican tire stores that sell good used tires here in the states. I bought 4 almost new tires for my 99 GMC Sierra Z71 1500 4x4 for $225.00 mounted and balanced that was 2 years ago still have plenty of tread. My spare was a Cooper T/A that cost $235.00 a piece. I bought 5 new Coopers when i bought my 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
My mum grew up on a farm in shrivenham and always told me about a farmer who put his head on the tracks , so wonder if it's an urban legend around there or true because this would have been in the 60s or 70s

I got caught by a farmer maybe it was just younger kid or something. Had an old building. Said I was trespassing. I said I don't think anybody cares it's an old building he said don't be filming me. I said yeah I'm going to film ain't you seen the movie Deliverance You're probably kill me at least they'll be able to catch you later. I think that put him off
Great video Matt. BUT at.5:34 you missed the BIG shot gun slug holes in the side of the blue car/van that was partly hidden by brambles & at 6:40 big slug holes shot in the side of the white van also. Big warning signs there of a unstable nut job with slugs not bird shot ammo. No doubt he was in the fields checking on a pheasants pens, when he clocked you and stalked you. Sadly you were trespassing on land you did not own or had permission to be there, though you may have not caused any harm you could have avoided all that merely by asking permission to visit the location. What was the point of being there when you never explored the house and it was clear to anybody that the farm is a going concern with hay bales in the barn, so what happened to the drone flight we could all have seen the angry farmer and where he was that was a poor choice Matt. For all I know the farmer was nowhere around. @@keefymckeefface8330 If I'm a tool then surely you are a DIPSTICK and as everybody knows tools are more useful than a mere dipstick, and because I know the law on trespass. Yep, cut in a place where the tire is unrepairable too.
Think I would wait a few months and then play at his game.
Gaz Yorkshire.
Time to get dashcam alarm on alert. If you'd caught him you'd have a case for crim vandalism.
Seemed like a nice farmer. You should have invited him for a cup of Earl Grey and a slice of Victoria sandwich cake.

That what I was thinking. I’ve seen cuts like that on tyres that been potholed. Looks like it has been pinched against the rim.
Thanks, Matt. The farmer was a tire slasher! Nice walk around.
Wouldn't be surprised that farmer is using this farm to store his haybails. I noticed the barnfull as you were walking around.
But Matt would have you believe that the farm was abandoned when clearly the landowner had every right to protect his property.
That C15 van was full of shotgun slug holes too, probably a good idea to keep moving. In Scotland, this isn’t an issue. Right to roam and all that.
i saw that too- and thought similar...
