@@miloscovic2473 I have got some idea about the differences between these very close models. Thanks for the great info. I have the option to grab the LG OK99 or the Sony V71 for $500. Obviously, it seems that the OK99 is much better for sound. We're planning to use one in our pool house and on the patio when we have people over. We're not so much looking for LOUD as we are COOL hangout atmosphere and audio for sports. The light setup on the Sony seems to be a pretty cool feature that would create a unique hangout, but the LG definitely seems better for everything else. Probably won't mess with the other features much. Which would you prefer in that situation? I wonder if there's a product that could be used with the OK99 to get the same lighting effects...
I like the ok's much better than the Sony, the 99 is huge and crazy loud. I love the strobes on the 99 but the sony lights are neat too. If you really like the Sony's lights get it, it's a decent speaker. If balanced sound is important, go with the lg, it handles switching genres better so you don't have to constantly mess with the eq. Did you see my night video with the ok99? If not here it is; ruclips.net/video/5lLrR91kkDw/видео.html&t=
Hi, thanks for the question. How big is the area you're using it in? Also, why leave out the LG's? I've fallen in love with them. The OK99 destroys the PB1000 and the Sony. @@bernardfriedman532 i have the OK99 though, the ok75 is good bass yess but the 8" sub wont pound the floor like the 12" sub in the 99. I bought the 75 and sold it to a buddy then got the 99 haha. Concert loud when we link them for parties
Yeah they are very cool. I wish they made the sound quality a little better but I do believe this speakers price to performance value is perfect. They priced it right.
Hey man, great review. I going to buy one of these 2. My only purpose is to listen music and movies sometime. No party definitely. So can u suggest me one of both. I do prefer clarity.
The Sony is louder and maybe a bit more clear, but it's not as user friendly. The controls and functions are not very intuitive. That said the quality and functionality is about equal in terms of Karaoke and echo. The Sony is a good value but it's a little harder to get the equalizer dialed in for different types of music. The LG just handles different types of music better. Being the ok75 is discontinued the Sony is the way to go but if you can find an ok75 for 400 bucks, buy it.
Amazing review! Now there is a 100$ difference between both speaker’s where im located. The sony is on sale 100$ less to the lg.. is the 100$ is worth to get the lg instead! I dont know which one to pick and also like to know how much louder the sony is compare to the lgok75 :)
I like the 99 better, it rocks the house and sounds good without having to adjust the eq constantly. The Sony units are difficult to get the sound dialed in.
Thanks for the question, it has plenty of bass. It's a little tougher to get the sound dialed in but it's worth the price. I like the lg ok99 much better but it's also more money.
I have not tested the Panosonic, but Sony is usually a better brand. You can check the frequency response on each unit and that should tell which goes lower. Then check the watts and you should get a decent idea of power and bass levels
Good News! I am going to buy the ok75 this month itself and there is one last question to ask before buying. Is there any possible way to verify the product is original?
The 99 will thump but you need a big room for it. At least 20 ft x 20 ft anything smaller and you won't hear the bass properly. If you're room is smaller look at either this sony or the rn7.
I have mhc v82d its hard to clean it.. speacialy the wooder and mid speakers can you sir make a tutorial for cleaning it.. im afraid to think of opening it just to clean.. respect ty
Can you help me out ? I'm in need of a speaker for an outdoor party that can manage for 75 people my budget is $500 is it possible to get one I've been debating bewtween jbl 300 partybox and sony v71
If you don't need the battery look at the LG RN7, the Sony v71 is loud and it's around the same price as the LG but the LG has better sound and the functions on it are way better. You can always return it if you're not satisfied. You know the Sony doesn't have a battery right? The lg doesn't either, but you get better sound with the lg and more functions. The lg RN7 is running $429 I believe and honestly the sound quality is right there with the jbl.
You'll get a lot more speaker with the sony. The only thing I don't like about the sony's is it's a little bit harder to get the sound dialed in, but they are a great value. The sony will be way louder and rock the house. Just make sure your music player app has an EQ to adjust the levels.
The sony or giga the giga is on sell for 400 the only reason why I'm not gettung it yet y said it domt go low enough and i want room shaking bass I have a small room
@@Robsreviewsanddemos ooo ok ill have check it out! It just amazes me that they brought out a product that doesnt sound good with all music! If you ever get a chance could you review a Sonos play 5 or 2 in stereo :P? id say its comparable even as a party setup - minus the lights. If you review the play 1 go 2 for stereo as well, theres something in the software that increases the bass dramatically when using 2

Hallo Rob, i am from Greece. I want a speaker for parties and LG OK75 has nice price for me but at the same price is Sony MHC-V43D. I would like your opinion. You are a cool guy.. Thank you
Thanks for the question. Sony's are decent but they are a little tougher to get the sound dialed in when going from one genre to the another. I love my ok75, it totally rocks the house and no matter what genre I'm listening to it sounds great. The only thing the Sony has that is better is the lighting. If I may ask what's the price on each unit? If they are the same price I'd go LG.
I like the LG's sound control better. The LG OK models are discontinued though, the new model the rn7 is a great speaker but it's nowhere near as loud as the Sony. There are still a few OK99's out there or even the OL100's overseas, if you can get one of them, get it. They are crazy loud and sound awesome.
@@anirudhamaity6215 How big is the room, if it's bigger than 20 feet square then I recommend the LG ok99 or LG ol100. If not I would look for the ok75, rn7 or the sony v71 or similar. You have different models available in India. So it depends on room size, than price. 40,000 is equal to 550 Dollars, both the ok75 and the sony v71 fall into the price range. Same with the rn7. The ok75 is great, then I'd go with the Sony v71 or whichever is available in India with a 12 inch woofer.
@@anirudhamaity6215 Unless you have a big enough room for an ok99 or ol100, I'd go with the sony. But if you do have a large room I'd wait for the lg's to go on sale. You will like the large lgs way more than the Sony.
@@bassspacenation9400 It'll be close, with those smaller woofers you're gonna hit those lower frequencies much better. I'd get the rn9 over the sony but i'd get the t70 over the rn9. The t70's bass could be better but it's a nice speaker if you can get it for 500 or less.

I've watched several of your reviews and it sounds like the LG has the best bass for the price? What would you recommend for a bass head I like to feel the bass
JBL is the best for bass. For the price lg thumps, but it's lacking on the very low frequencies. I love my lg's though.
I know it's hard to believe but, it's true, LG did an excellent job on these speakers. check it out ruclips.net/video/5lLrR91kkDw/видео.html
I couldnt find the lg's here. Just using it in the house and when entertaining out the back which is approx 25mx25m. Yes you can, the Sony's do Karaoke and have great lighting, the lg's also do it and they sound better, but the lighting is not as good.

Sure it has a couple options, bluetooth or an HDMI in.
Hi Rob..which one is best for karoake singing....Sony mhcv71d or LG ok75...in tearms of clearity..echo etc

Between LG OK75, Sony V43D and JBL Partybox 300, which speaker has the best sound quality?
JBL
Amazing review! Now there is a 100$ difference between both speaker’s where im located. The sony is on sale 100$ less to the lg.. is the 100$ is worth to get the lg instead! I dont know which one to pick and also like to know how much louder the sony is compare to the lgok75 :)
Are we talking the ok99 or ok75? If you can get the ok99 for 100 bucks more do it, you'll like the lg ok99 way more.
Between Sony and LGok99 which one is better ?
I like the 99 better, it rocks the house and sounds good without having to adjust the eq constantly. The Sony units are difficult to get the sound dialed in.
Is the sony good for bass will I be upset with the bass ? I'm a bass guy
Thanks for the question, it has plenty of bass. It's a little tougher to get the sound dialed in but it's worth the price. I like the lg ok99 much better but it's also more money.
Please give comparison between mhc 42d and ok 75
The Ok is better, if I can I'll do it but I guarantee the LG will win.
Panasonic SC UA7 or Sony MHC v71D?
Which has better bass?

I have not tested the Panosonic, but Sony is usually a better brand. You can check the frequency response on each unit and that should tell which goes lower. Then check the watts and you should get a decent idea of power and bass levels

Hi buddy

You'll get a lot more speaker with the sony. The only thing I don't like about the sony's is it's a little bit harder to get the sound dialed in, but they are a great value. The sony will be way louder and rock the house. Just make sure your music player app has an EQ to adjust the levels.
