The only side effects ive had so far is slight nausea when i did my second injection last night. Loving being part of this journey ❤

Bless you … I say this all the time but you really have to trust the process. It will work but you have to give it time. I recommend taking some body measurements too as motivation and a few photos. Drink plenty, eat well, exercise and the rest will follow xxxx ♥️
I just think if it’s coming off either on the sale on in cms then it’s all good. It’s a process though and the research shows most weight loss comes off further into the journey after several months xxx
I love following you and have found your videos so supportive. I am on week 10 and 27lbs down. I am on my second month of 5mg. I am not sure whether to go up to 7.5mg for next month but I think I am going to see if I can do another month on 5mg - I have a lot more to lose so I want to spread the doses as long as possible. I am also shifting from Superdrug to Medexpress because it is £70 cheaper! I think I originally thought I'd go with a big name like Boots or Superdrug but since I am now getting them delivered I might as well go with the cheaper option. I really find the comments so helpful and inspiring. Good luck this week everyone.

Thank you for your Update- you are especially reminding me to not get used to go lower and lower with the calories- I think there is a slight „danger“ of wanting too much loss per week and thus slow down ones metabolism in the end. This week I also made sure to stick to my calorie goal and eat enough. Results will I see tomorrow…

Marcea, I am finding that if my calories are higher that I do actually lose more weight…I’m sure there is a happy medium…when I am closer to my BMR I do much better!!

Well I suppose I still have fat to lose so it will continue to improve. I’ve shared all the info I have on the scales app. At the end of the day it is only estimated. … I am not worried by it. I am just happy to be feeling happier and healthier. I am so happy to be strength training again. I feel great xxx

@ladymawa, on your 1 month update you went to 5mg, was 2.5mg not effective anymore? week 4 on 2.5mg and haven't lost anything even though food suppression is good, I am due to order tomorrow and don't know if I should go up to 5mg? what do you think? I have the same weight goal as you

@@ladymawa No side effects whatsoever and very good food suppression so don't know why the weight loss has stopped 😢, so hard with PCOS and hypothyroidism. tracking my calories, 4x a week training and about 80g of protein a day.
Yay, go you🥰 I've just accepted the Renpho update, I didn't have to do anything with the dates, all my info was still there. I know it's not new but I really dislike the average weight thing, it can be really triggering seeing that higher number pop up. Also I wish you could delete an entry, even though I know I haven't put on any fat, and do only go by the downward trend I still don't like seeing that line go up and down. I thought that it would only register if you had the app open, this morning I was halfway down my 2nd coffee when I needed the loo lol. It's only been 6 days since my last weigh in but as I go by weigh in on poo days (caveat, that has to have occurred before coffee!) I got on the scales knowing that the coffees would probably show up. I was 0.6 up, no worries, my phone wasn't even in the same room but it registered when I opened the app to do the damn update! Anyway, rant over, I'm hoping for a survey kind of thing and I will bloomin' well tell them 🤣🤣🤣🥰
@@ladymawa bloody hell 🤣 thank you. I forgot about that, I've done that before when I was checking the scales didn't go up 2lb if I moved them by 1 cm like my old scales did. I'd only deleted the 3 or 4 extra entries for the day so it still showed on the graph. I'll tidy it up when I get home, I'm off to Home Bargains for a tub of blackcurrant clear protein, I bought the tropical last week and it was quite palatable, £14.99 for 16 servings so a good price too xx

I get a pop up about measurements but can’t find where to put that in. Can you offer any assistance? Congrats on your progress!
I am wondering about the Renpho (sp?) scale. How does it know all the things it knows, e.g. muscle, skeletal weight? I apologize if you have explained previously. If so please direct me to appropriate video. I am starting Wegovy next week and I think your videos are brilliant! Thank you so much!

Awww - well done Marcea - just show you can up the calories and still have a sensible weight loss. I had my 5th weekly weigh in on Tuesday and lost 3.4lbs - making a total of 1st 4.2lbs!Great news!Still suffering a bit with diarrhoea after two doses of 5mg but will stick with it - I may stay on 5mg if it doesn't clear up by the time I'm ready for month 2. I've downloaded the new Renpho app. It all looked ok but I noticed it hadn't updated the weight card and showed zero on the Total Loss and Progress stats. All the stats on Body Composition looked ok and had transferred. I decided to have a play with it and have now lost all the stats on the Body Composition page apart from Weight and BMI! Funnily enough though, all my historic stats are showing if I go into History and tap the right hand side of the card showing the Weight and BMi of each historic weekly recorded date! They are all there but the data has not transferred to the Body Composition page.🤷♀Has anyone else experienced this transferring to the new app and if so did you manage to correct it? I have set the date on the Body Composition card to my start date but still no go!
You are doing so well with your journey. Is there a pattern to your side effects? Could it be related to something you are eating that’s maybe got fat or sugar? I hope it settles soon for you. Oh no … I’m so sad about the app - how annoying to lose all your data. Do you have it on another device such as an iPad that has not been update? Hope you have a better few days ahead xxx
@@ladymawa I'm not really eating hardly any processed sugar - mainly fresh fruit - although that could have something to do with it.I always try to have three pieces of fruit daily with my yoghurt. It was fine on the 2.5mg dose though.i don't think my diet is overly fatty but I'll carry on - hopefully it will settle down by the end of the fourth dose. I've had another look at my Renpho app and managed to fix it a bit.I had to manually put in my start weight when it first updated and inserted a slightly wrong figure. All the stats are now showing correctly on the Body Composition card now, but still no joy on the Weight/BMI card bit. And so alas, I haven't got the ribbon around the weight and BMI circle features like you have showing the progress since start. I'm not going to faff around with it any more though!😂
Let’s hope it settles hunny. Glad you shared the app …. Have you set a goal weight? I think that’s what you need and then it does the progress around the edge xxx

Hi Marcea. Your videos are uplifting. I'm in my 7th Dose/week. Not much side effects but I suffer a lot from reflux. So I hardly eat and can't even make 800 calories a day. Some days it's so difficult to put anything in my mouth. Please any suggestions? Thanks a lot.
Oh no … how awful. Have you spoken to your provider? Do you have this all the time or after certain foods? Have you tried any antacids? I think you should speak with your provider and they will advise the best course of treatment xxx
Yet another lb off this week, I'm on 1400 cals a day and 105 protein, I'm on 10mg. I find the suppression fantastic but when it's mealtime i can make my meal & eat it then be full , food noise is totally gone. If I waited till I was hungry I'd maybe not eat but it's strange my mind knows I need to eat so I don't ever force myself just make jacket tattie & beans or tuna then enjoy that. Somebody told me I was fading away lol I'm not I've lost 18bs in 17 weeks and still have 36lbs to go
You are being very sensible hun … it’s so important to make food and have a good calorie and protein goal. I had someone telling me a few weeks ago not to lose too much more. My bmi was at around 29 at that point … sigh. You know where you want to be … listen to yourself my darling and go smash it 🥰♥️
Lol today i went to make an elderly neighbours bed i do it once a fortnight, she said yoyve lost more weight, i said aye 2lb since i saw you ladt hardly wasting away, im size 18 13 st, honestly some people said I was fat when I was 11 stone, you can't win

Just an idea for your drinking - I’m sure you’ve said you’re a Pepsi max fan…you could challenge yourself to have a bottle of water/squash before you’re “allowed” a Pepsi. Sometimes we need to make deals with ourselves! X
To be fair I do love Pepsi but I sip on a can through the day. I would rarely drink 2 cans now so that’s not going to work …. I just don’t drink that much but I’m a bit better than I was. I actually just need to fill my bottle I think … in fact I’m going to go buy a new bottle hahahaha. Great idea though for normal people 🥰♥️
Well done another great loss. Can I ask what your average daily steps are please? Do you track them? Your losses are so consistent. Mine are very slow. I try not to compare to others but it can be disheartening stepping on the scales to very little losses after sticking so hard to things. I keep plodding away though. Also do you weight daily and take an average or only weigh once per week? Thank you again xx
Hi hun … it is hard not comparing but we are all on our own journey …. Just taken it day by day sweetie. My steps are pretty shameful if I’m honest … I need till walk a lot more than I do. I step on the scales every day but I only record my Tuesday morning weight. It is the actual weight on that day - not an average. I’m so happy with how things are going. I’m quite happy with 1-2 lbs a week … slow and steady is the best way really xxx Have a great week hun xxx

Hi … congratulations on starting your journey. That’s so exciting. I am with Med Express and they currently will prescribe for 2 years from your first prescription although I believe that the guidance is now changing to lifelong maintenance if required. I have seen a couple of pharmacies offering this and it is within the product license. It will ultimately be a decision you need to make with your provider when you get to that stage of your journey. The associated health benefits of being in a glp1 are very compelling and certainly make me want to look at long term low dose therapy eventually. Good luck xxx
I think the cost is going to be far too prohibitive for a lot of people to stay on a maintenance dose. Obviously demand and the increased number of providers will eventually bring the cost of the drug down, but not enough for a large amount of people to justify staying on it for the long term. I'm hoping to have changed my bad food habits ( snacking, mindless eating) and increased my exercise and using proven appetite suppressants (tablets/powders etc), to help with feeling full. Time will tell, but I hope that when I stop after doing 4 months, months, that I have enough willpower to stop me putting weight back on!
@@JimMcBob yes i'm thinking along the same lines myself as those monthly costs add up, only half way through first months dosage, which to be fair is a low one to start but not feeling much difference but only a small amount of weight to lose so hopefully i'll be able to create a sustainable change in regards to diet/exercise
Hope all goes well. I’m looking from the position that previous weightloss attempts have failed despite best efforts which leads me to believe the glp1 is helping far more in other ways with my matabolic health, insulin/glucose levels etc. I’ve always eaten pretty healthily and exercised so I do believe that we respond very differently to our natural glp1. Time will tell. Let’s hope we all keep the weight off. Working hard on our muscle preservation and having good metabolic health is what will push towards successful maintenance I think. Xxx
I have tried for years to lose weight since gaining during perimenopause. Nothing worked. I’ve years of videos on my channel sharing slimming world, weightwatchers, calorie counting etc without success. These injections work in many ways … it’s more than just eating the correct calories and moving. It’s changed my life xx

Marcea, I am finding that if my calories are higher that I do actually lose more weight…I’m sure there is a happy medium…when I am closer to my BMR I do much better!!

Well I suppose I still have fat to lose so it will continue to improve. I’ve shared all the info I have on the scales app. At the end of the day it is only estimated. … I am not worried by it. I am just happy to be feeling happier and healthier. I am so happy to be strength training again. I feel great xxx

@ladymawa, on your 1 month update you went to 5mg, was 2.5mg not effective anymore? week 4 on 2.5mg and haven't lost anything even though food suppression is good, I am due to order tomorrow and don't know if I should go up to 5mg? what do you think? I have the same weight goal as you

@@ladymawa No side effects whatsoever and very good food suppression so don't know why the weight loss has stopped 😢, so hard with PCOS and hypothyroidism. tracking my calories, 4x a week training and about 80g of protein a day.
Yay, go you🥰 I've just accepted the Renpho update, I didn't have to do anything with the dates, all my info was still there.
I know it's not new but I really dislike the average weight thing, it can be really triggering seeing that higher number pop up. Also I wish you could delete an entry, even though I know I haven't put on any fat, and do only go by the downward trend I still don't like seeing that line go up and down. I thought that it would only register if you had the app open, this morning I was halfway down my 2nd coffee when I needed the loo lol. It's only been 6 days since my last weigh in but as I go by weigh in on poo days (caveat, that has to have occurred before coffee!) I got on the scales knowing that the coffees would probably show up. I was 0.6 up, no worries, my phone wasn't even in the same room but it registered when I opened the app to do the damn update! Anyway, rant over, I'm hoping for a survey kind of thing and I will bloomin' well tell them 🤣🤣🤣🥰

@@ladymawa bloody hell 🤣 thank you. I forgot about that, I've done that before when I was checking the scales didn't go up 2lb if I moved them by 1 cm like my old scales did. I'd only deleted the 3 or 4 extra entries for the day so it still showed on the graph. I'll tidy it up when I get home, I'm off to Home Bargains for a tub of blackcurrant clear protein, I bought the tropical last week and it was quite palatable, £14.99 for 16 servings so a good price too xx

I had my 5th weekly weigh in on Tuesday and lost 3.4lbs - making a total of 1st 4.2lbs!Great news!Still suffering a bit with diarrhoea after two doses of 5mg but will stick with it - I may stay on 5mg if it doesn't clear up by the time I'm ready for month 2.
I've downloaded the new Renpho app. It all looked ok but I noticed it hadn't updated the weight card and showed zero on the Total Loss and Progress stats. All the stats on Body Composition looked ok and had transferred. I decided to have a play with it and have now lost all the stats on the Body Composition page apart from Weight and BMI! Funnily enough though, all my historic stats are showing if I go into History and tap the right hand side of the card showing the Weight and BMi of each historic weekly recorded date! They are all there but the data has not transferred to the Body Composition page.🤷♀Has anyone else experienced this transferring to the new app and if so did you manage to correct it? I have set the date on the Body Composition card to my start date but still no go!
You are doing so well with your journey. Is there a pattern to your side effects? Could it be related to something you are eating that’s maybe got fat or sugar? I hope it settles soon for you.

@@ladymawa I'm not really eating hardly any processed sugar - mainly fresh fruit - although that could have something to do with it.I always try to have three pieces of fruit daily with my yoghurt. It was fine on the 2.5mg dose though.i don't think my diet is overly fatty but I'll carry on - hopefully it will settle down by the end of the fourth dose.
I've had another look at my Renpho app and managed to fix it a bit.I had to manually put in my start weight when it first updated and inserted a slightly wrong figure. All the stats are now showing correctly on the Body Composition card now, but still no joy on the Weight/BMI card bit. And so alas, I haven't got the ribbon around the weight and BMI circle features like you have showing the progress since start. I'm not going to faff around with it any more though!😂
Let’s hope it settles hunny. Glad you shared the app …. Have you set a goal weight? I think that’s what you need and then it does the progress around the edge xxx

Hi Marcea. Your videos are uplifting. I'm in my 7th Dose/week. Not much side effects but I suffer a lot from reflux. So I hardly eat and can't even make 800 calories a day. Some days it's so difficult to put anything in my mouth. Please any suggestions? Thanks a lot.
Oh no … how awful. Have you spoken to your provider? Do you have this all the time or after certain foods? Have you tried any antacids? I think you should speak with your provider and they will advise the best course of treatment xxx
I cut out gluten and it has helped so much.

Yet another lb off this week, I'm on 1400 cals a day and 105 protein, I'm on 10mg. I find the suppression fantastic but when it's mealtime i can make my meal & eat it then be full , food noise is totally gone. If I waited till I was hungry I'd maybe not eat but it's strange my mind knows I need to eat so I don't ever force myself just make jacket tattie & beans or tuna then enjoy that. Somebody told me I was fading away lol I'm not I've lost 18bs in 17 weeks and still have 36lbs to go
You are being very sensible hun … it’s so important to make food and have a good calorie and protein goal.

Just an idea for your drinking - I’m sure you’ve said you’re a Pepsi max fan…you could challenge yourself to have a bottle of water/squash before you’re “allowed” a Pepsi. Sometimes we need to make deals with ourselves! X
To be fair I do love Pepsi but I sip on a can through the day. I would rarely drink 2 cans now so that’s not going to work …. I just don’t drink that much but I’m a bit better than I was. I actually just need to fill my bottle I think … in fact I’m going to go buy a new bottle hahahaha.

Can I ask what your average daily steps are please? Do you track them? Your losses are so consistent. Mine are very slow. I try not to compare to others but it can be disheartening stepping on the scales to very little losses after sticking so hard to things.
I keep plodding away though.

My steps are pretty shameful if I’m honest … I need till walk a lot more than I do.
I step on the scales every day but I only record my Tuesday morning weight. It is the actual weight on that day - not an average.
I’m so happy with how things are going. I’m quite happy with 1-2 lbs a week … slow and steady is the best way really xxx

Hi … congratulations on starting your journey. That’s so exciting.
I am with Med Express and they currently will prescribe for 2 years from your first prescription although I believe that the guidance is now changing to lifelong maintenance if required. I have seen a couple of pharmacies offering this and it is within the product license. It will ultimately be a decision you need to make with your provider when you get to that stage of your journey. The associated health benefits of being in a glp1 are very compelling and certainly make me want to look at long term low dose therapy eventually.

I think the cost is going to be far too prohibitive for a lot of people to stay on a maintenance dose. Obviously demand and the increased number of providers will eventually bring the cost of the drug down, but not enough for a large amount of people to justify staying on it for the long term. I'm hoping to have changed my bad food habits ( snacking, mindless eating) and increased my exercise and using proven appetite suppressants (tablets/powders etc), to help with feeling full. Time will tell, but I hope that when I stop after doing 4 months, months, that I have enough willpower to stop me putting weight back on!
@@JimMcBob yes i'm thinking along the same lines myself as those monthly costs add up, only half way through first months dosage, which to be fair is a low one to start but not feeling much difference but only a small amount of weight to lose so hopefully i'll be able to create a sustainable change in regards to diet/exercise
Hope all goes well. I’m looking from the position that previous weightloss attempts have failed despite best efforts which leads me to believe the glp1 is helping far more in other ways with my matabolic health, insulin/glucose levels etc. I’ve always eaten pretty healthily and exercised so I do believe that we respond very differently to our natural glp1.
Time will tell. Let’s hope we all keep the weight off. Working hard on our muscle preservation and having good metabolic health is what will push towards successful maintenance I think. Xxx

I have tried for years to lose weight since gaining during perimenopause. Nothing worked. I’ve years of videos on my channel sharing slimming world, weightwatchers, calorie counting etc without success.
These injections work in many ways … it’s more than just eating the correct calories and moving. It’s changed my life xx
