그중 가장 잔혹한 천적은
“기생벌”의 한 종류인 “진디벌”입니다.
이들은 진딧물의 몸 안을 쿡~ 찔러 알을 낳는데,
기생벌의 알은 진딧물 안에서 부화하고
진딧물의 몸을 갉아 먹으며 자라다가
이들을 이렇게 번데기처럼 만들고
성충이 되어 구멍을 뚫고 나오죠.
하지만 진딧물에게는
기생벌의 공격을 막아 줄 무기가 있습니다.
그 무기의 정체는 바로….
“바이러스”죠.
