- In the fourth episode of our ‘A Round With Radar’ series, Wayne ‘Radar’ Riley challenges PING Pro Brandon Stone to a 9-hole match at Walton Heath in Surrey, England. Radar chats with Brandon about how he got into golf, life on the European Tour, having a putt to shoot 59 and his longstanding relationship with PING.
Best part of these videos is how quick witted Radar is. I love the banter and back in forth!
This is a Great series, with a wonderful balance between player & equipment insight and full on humour.
I loved watching Brandon's swing, he has Ernie's easy tempo, but his sense of humour was razor sharp. If he ever leaves the Tour a career on the Comedy circuit beckons!
Great video you have it all great golf, great characters and great equipment, play your best everybody.

It is a Ping advert and I don't play ping clubs but don't care. Still enjoy watching it just for the little tips you can pick up and the banter with Radar.

Good fun, cannot understand the folks who say it Ping advertisement...doh of course it is, it's a Ping youtube channel. I don't play ping clubs. had an old G4 driver back in the day. But it's still good to hear how the pro's fit their clubs and the distances they hit it, also a few tips here and there. So lighten up folks, it's obviously a ping selling tool, if you don't like it then don't subscribe or watch.
I hate to dissagree guys but my 3wood is my love, and my go to club in any situation.

Call it for what it is.. A painful ping advertisement with the painful radar and Brandon stone behaving himself for once. There must of been a heap of mulligans!

Oh look, another Ping commercial cleverly disguised as something else. And another automaton attired Ping golfer too.
I don't believe the gameplay for one minute. Ping will have you believing their pro's birdie everything because they're playing Ping clubs. They wouldn't dare show any "disasters" or bad shots. The only "misses" seem to be when a shot goes 30 yards too far Of course, the Ping pro's can't wait for next year's models because they know they'll go another 1000 yards. Soon they'll be teeing off at Land's End and playing to a green at St Andrews with the latest Ping driver and all with perfect ball flight. Reminds me of that "K1 Speed" driver presentation where Sam Torrence and all his handicap golfer buddies drove the 10th at the Belfy. lol. We've recently had the silly Wilson reality commercial where a novices "design" their new driver and now this. And it's going to get worse ....

Thank tuck for that. Just enjoy it for what it is, half an hour of golf entertainment in an otherwise stressful world.

Have you bought a new set of ping clubs? Don't forget, last year's "new" unused pre-Covid ones will already be "crap" and probably 20 yards short ...... according to Ping.
You can be sure Brandon (who?) Stone will be eagling every hole in the next episode ! lol
