He didn't die because he had death sustenance. This is a warlike passive skill that stops the death and heals you up for 10%/20%/30% of your max hp (up to 3 levels).
the only decent dps emblem are actually Burst and Sprawl, other dps emblem have low rng and may not really add to the overall dps. Tribal Ode, High Energy Potion, and Intertwined Fates are much better as it gives stable dps instead of the later.
Paladin or warrior DPS is a joke man. They will never get higher DPS than other class that really made for DPS like shadow swordsman, hunter, mage. The reason sometimes they got high number of DPS on some raids is because they always spamming their skill 4 (for paladin which is can give an area dmg) on a lot of minions.

By the way many main DPS role still lower DPS vs my single target then How can I go to tank if they still like this :) And in 1 party we need 6/10 person in DPS role then this kind of video not reason why hard to find tank then Could you please play tank for our Tarisland game or right now you play as tank, then I thank you for that. But if you play DPS then you can't talk like this.

Atualmente o maior dps do jogo fica com as classes corpo a corpo (bárbaro, paladino, guerreiro e assassino) mas isso é uma coisa que irá mudar com o tempo... São temporadas. Logo as classes destaques serão magos e atiradores. Até o momento, o que você disse não faz sentido e isso é uma situação dos próprios desenvolvedores. Atiradores e magos são as classes mais late game desse jogo
