1. Is it a competitor you're trying to de-rank? The best thing you can do is work to grow your blog and rank it above theirs. I wouldn't focus on de-ranking others. 2. Make sure your content in 10x better and work to build some good backlinks to your page. 3. There is no such thing as stealing keywords. You can go after whatever keywords you want :)

Confusion over Colmuns? so i was following word for word and got to a point where i chose a competitors page and exported keywords that were driving traffic from google to this particular page. when i clicked View All for that page so see which keywords driving the traffic, the first line says "This page gets an estimated 2,572 visits a month from Google. Here are the keywords that generate those visits." but when i look at all the results below keyword by keyword, the data shown is hugely different from the estimated 2,572 mentioned. the data exported to excel and show total of Volume column has 38270 but the Estimated Visit just 47. so there are 3 numbers here. 2,572. then 38270 (Volume column) and lastly 47 (Estimate Visits). i personally would have thought that 2,572 estimated visits given in the first line is what all the what the total traffic should add up to (by simply adding up traffic from all the keyword that are driving traffic to this page with 2,572). but it is clearly not the case and the difference is huge. can you @neil Patel, please help me understand where and what should i be doing here or how should i be interpreting the data? You might be using too many quotes or citing too much exact information.

Use Ubersuggest, type in your keywords and see who is currently ranking. Those sites may be your competitors.
