My car system has a lot of touch problems. upper half of the screen touch not working and only lower half works & that too it exits to homescreen within 1 second. i can only connect bluetooth to play songs. radio button is stuck to AM mode, FM touch is not working at all.. Isaw your video and today im going to try using bluetooth internet and installing firefox . Thank you for this video

I think all Honda Owners should watch this video and understand that they are not the only one who has this Crap AVN. I get it replaced ..it took one year to fight with Honda ...finaly get replaced ..was facing bubble issue .,. I think all Honda Owners should join hand together and make travel tech as lead to make Honda company understand about there poor product ...spending heavy amount in cars and providing outdated substandard AVN . There must be something legal that every Honda Owners can give good lesson to Honda Company that where customers was at fault !!!
Yes Honda has really done a bad job with digipad, with an otherwise excellent car. I have made my best attempts to make the digipad as useful as possible. Will be making a video soon regarding which AV unit is best for replacement.

I have honda city 2018 . Sometimes digipad touch response does not work but sometimes it works but it changes the radio channels erratically by itself . Is this a clock spring issue?
Please do give alternatives taking preinstalled speakers in consideration. Digipad does a decent job with respect to audio output and processing. Android Units may not be able to give same output depending on brand

Yes definitely go ahead with Android system. Also, its important that you buy atleast 4GB/64GB variant. Do not buy 2GB/32GB as it start to hang and get slow over time.

I have a 2017 honda city v . I have this digipad 1.0 . All the issues you've stated in this video has happened to me. The digipad has completely stopped touch sensitivity. It does not respond to touch
Replacing or not is a preference thing. My personal preference is to keep it stock OEM. Although I agree its smaller, I am used to it now. There are several aftermarket gear knobs available which you can go for. Try to keep it light as OEM, and not too heavy.

If the display panel is of good quality, it will be able to withstand the heat. Also you can take some small steps such as not parking the car in direct sunlight all day. Alternatively you can use sunshades while parking like I have shown in this video: ruclips.net/video/FADwVNtzEBE/видео.html

Takeout is, Honda Digipad is worse quality. You can't do anything about this, Honda won't help you with Digipad issues. Buy a new AV unit from a good company like Sony, Pioneer & etc.

That is not normal. If the light is blinking even after the car is turned off, then there must a problem with the electronics or the battery. I recommend that you immediately take your car to Honda Service centre and get it checked.

Hi. Currently all support for Spotify and even the browser of digipad is removed. It is not possible to access any of those now. It was available at the time of making those videos about 3 years ago. I recommend you replace your Digipad to an Android system and get all latest apps and features.

Check the power port connector. Unplug it and blow up any dirt/dust there and reconnect.
I had this issue Replaced the whole unit with some after market stuff 10 inch pad.

No need of SD card. It should download to internal storage. Try resetting the Digipad and connect to an alternate network.

You probably got a Digipad 2. Honda jas disabled any app downloading ability in Digipad 2. It is possible only in Digipad 1.
