- hihihiiiii so I have another Halloween doll repaint for yall today. This is party of a big ol collaboration with some talented youtube doll peeps. If you guys have been around this channel for the past month than you would know ive been absolutely obsessed with G3 monster high and finding all the dolls. Draculaura was definitely my favorite so I had to paint her for this collab! anyway, hope you guys enjoy!

tiny brushes:
-princeton velvettouch round 20/0(my fav)
-wargamer "the psycho" army painter brush (its actually called the psycho, this ones quite good. its not as stiff as the one above so i find i have a little less control but its still a nice brush for details)
-arteje 100/0 camlon micro paint brush( this ones quite a bit stiffer than the other two but its a super tiny brush. its a bit hard to control but probably the finest brush i have)
I use a liquid brush shaper i got from blick awhile ago with all these brushes. this has really helped me with their longevity and keeping their shape which is kind of difficult with really fine brushes.

thank you!! i really dig it! i prefer certain aspects to the old mold, like i like that the heads are a little smaller and the ears are bigger but i sort of like the features on the older dolls more. i think theyre great bases for doll repaints.

Your right. I do hate change 😭 but I think if they kept the same characters, changed only a few things I’d like it. Like I don’t like Draculaura being a witch, but I love that she’s plus size! I love that Frankie has a prosthetic and I rlly don’t care if she’s non-binary- BUT WHY IS SHE BLUE (Ik why she is but still) and I don’t like what they did to lagoons 😭😭😭😭

I'm very indecisive on how I feel about the g3 reboot but one thing I'm absolutely over the moon about is the articulation and body sculpts!!! The curves are adorable, which is really the only reason I like lol dolls but they are quite stylized. The way mh did it was very very cute and natural. I feel like their designs could've been worked on more but oh well.
I personally don't like the show or movie, it feels like it's directed towards younger people (and I'm not old by any means so 🤷♀️) but the dolls I've seen aren't bad.

the bodies are so so so good! especially in comparison to g1, like wowwyyyyy. i cant really watch the show or movie, it just feels a little immature for me but its also directed at kids so thats to be expected. thank ya!

thank you! i really like em! i prefer certain aspects over the old mold. like i like that the new mold has bigger ears and the faces seem a bit smaller on some of em but i think i prefer the features of the older molds. or atleast the eye molds. i think theyre awesome bases for doll repaints.

Instead of sewing the head closed use super glue
If you reroot after super gluing the glue opens back up from the pressure of rerooting
