@G82Watts I saw the video. Its definitely not numerous factors. Its 2. The first is the one you said, he wasnt in love with the torque. His second complaint was him being 6 foot 6 and not having enough room in the car. Other than that he said it really isnt a bad car. Hes just too used to his previous vw. Hes at heart a vw guy and its understandable. Gti has a bit more comfort on the interior. Thats his personal gripes. Def does not make the car terrible.
Car is damn fun to drive in my opinion. Makes for a fun daily driver.

It almost feels as if Audi executives watched your previous video and said "Ja, he has a point". Haha
The facelift looks great, but why they went for that steering wheel is something I don't understand.
VW and Mercedes went down this route using steering wheels with sensor touch "buttons" instead of physical buttons, which is horrible! I have used them myself and they are very annoying. Quite often something gets activated without your intent, or you scroll something by mistake, just because your thumb happened to be there... It's just a bad design for a steering wheel.

I don't think so. The new S5 Avant (which was the A4 Avant( , base spec with no options, is the same price as the current RS4 base spec in the UK. Yet I can get a BMW M340i Touring, fully loaded, for less than the price of an S5 and BMW finance rates are half Audis - the BMW is better looking, faster, has a much better interior and comes with much better options. Audi should take note if you ask me, as when the times comes, I'm not getting another one. Their prices are now a joke and the quality keeps falling.

The Audi 8Y and 8Y.5 RS3 both look great and I think owners of each should be happy. The 8Y has more catchy and busy styling (functional styling but aggressive on the styling) and the 8Y.5 is more subdued and less loud looking. It reminds me of the Honda FK8 Civic Type R being a lot to look at while the FL5 Civic Type R that followed is much more subdued looking. I think Audi wanted something more shocking and exciting looking to get people excited then something more subdued to open the market to more buyers.

RS3 8Y sportback owner here. I'm not blown away with the looks of this facelift. I'm OK with the rear, the front is kind of OK, but the new design for the Audi rings looks like an afterthought. I prefer how my car looks to this. I do not like the wheels, much better the all black ones I have on my car. The new steering wheel looks cheap and out of place, they've not bothered to upgrade any of the cheap plastics used inside the car, especially the piano black crap. The new badge on the rear is a joke, as when you look at the RS badges in the car, they're the old design, with the RS inside the red rhombus. But hey, if I was buying one, I'd remove the rear badge and replace with the same one on the back of my car. No more B&O, it's now Sonus and the worst bit, here in the UK, this car starts at £60k, going up to and past £70k if you tick all the options. That's RS4 money and we don't get the bucket seats or interior styling upgrades that EU countries get. All in all, not much change really, it still looks like my RS3 and the changes are subtle and done with cost cutting in mind. Things they could have done, like more power, more noise, better quality parts, they didn't. I also note no ceramic brakes option which I have on my car. Nope, I won't be rushing out to trade my RS3 for this one.
