    Erick you must visit in Romania (in addition to Transylvania):
    - Maramureș / Maramures (especilly in winter when you will see a lot of tradition, dances, a lot of great food and a lot of Palinca :)) => Natural beauties, Culture & History )
    Search location with traditions, music and dances.
    - Delta Dunării / Danube Delta - is the second largest river delta in Europe, after the Volga Delta, and is the best preserved on the continent.
    - Bucovina / Bukovina - Land of Painted Monasteries (search on RUclips - Romania's Painted Monasteries) with great food and a lot of tradition, great mountains ...
    & our Nature Parks - Protected areas of Romania - Beautiful places with a lot of wild animals.
    Ask Alin about this regions or search on internet. :D
    Search especially Traditions and Folklore (different by regions). Our Folklore is unique and tell our history in clothes, music and thousands of different dances. You must see our country from the villages and the simple people like Alin Popescu family (I saw your RUclips videos :D).
    Bucharest is great if you want to party, in center of the city, but his arhitecture don't look so good. City look very different in present that it look in history. Search on RUclips => Bucharest - Little Paris of the East (Bucharest between the two World Wars).
    And seach on internet this website - romaniatourism . com
    Greetings from Romania!

    Nice list, and very diverse.
    Bolivia is my favourite. A 26 hour flight from Australia, but so worth the time and money. Had 5 days on the Amazon, experiencing the wild life, then went back to La Paz before setting off through the Salt Flats. That place is magic, I felt like I was on another planet at times. When the afternoon sun was setting, the sky was on fire, a mix of yellow, orange, purple and pink.

    Yo dude!
    I think agree with your list despite the fact that I've never been to 3 and 5, South Africa and Colombia. But I share a particular affinity for... ROMANIA!!!! I know you hate Bucharest, it's ugly as fuck but the amount of fun there is to have in that place is unbelievable. I have so many friends out there, it's unreal. I was supposed to stay there for 6 months when I went in 2012 and ended up living there for more than 2 and a half year cos I loved my life so much over there.
    I'm getting back out there in the spring of 2019, only 18 months away. Can't wait. In the meantime, I'll go and visit my best friend in Cali, Colombia. And I know why you love the place: most beautiful girls in the world (along with Romanian girls right? You know that!
    I also agree with the United States. It's probably not that well known because people associate the US with its cities but it's outside of major cities where you really get to enjoy the real beauty of the country. That place is a never ending resource of interesting places to visit, you need several lifetimes to do it all. I hope to visit more of the south next time I go, places like Louisiana, Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia etc...
    I'm from France and I would have been 210% surprised if my country ever made it to your top 5. But... meh... hey, you have to say, it's not an uninteresting country right? We're the most visited country in the world after all. I'm originally from Paris but this is where I live now (a little island off the coast of Brittany):
    image.jimcdn.com/app/cms/image/transf/none/path/sb18687bf2533f15e/image/i29b0e836a7c7a1f5/version/1396690495/image.png
    Ah, it's a hard life, isn't it?
    You're one hell of a traveler! I'm an amateur compared to you. Only visited 35 countries and lives in 4 of them for more than a year. Keep it up man, you're living the dream!

    • @Minoritynomad

      France, and specifically Paris, has AMAZING international PR through popular culture. I would agree, France isn't an uninteresting place. Big fan of France outside of Paris actually. Especially Lyon. One of those countries I always find myself returning to.

My list would likely include the entire Balkans region. But my dislike for traveling the region is their fault necessarily. If that makes sense. I'm going to be doing my favorites lists soon. After I hit 100 countries in June you'll see a lot more.

    When you went to Taiwan, or any other country, do you have to show an airplane ticket that you're going to leave the country when you enter? I heard they don't let you in unless you buy outgoing tickets before hand.

    • @Minoritynomad
      @Minoritynomad  8 лет назад

      +Mihai Smarandache it's funny you ask that. I explain this at 4:20 of this video. ruclips.net/video/na4Ya4LWQ1E/видео.html
      In three years of constant travel immigration has asked me for an onward ticket TWICE not that I sit and think about it. Both were in the UK and I talked my way out of it. However, small airlines in Asia ask all the time. Like when I was coming back from Taipei. I lied and said I was taking the train to Cambodia and had to buy the ticket at the train station in Bangkok. That's true, but I'm not actually going.
      I've heard bery few stories of immigration not letting you in as an American, Canadian, or Brit without onward tickets. Even if you have to grab one their only like $30 tops to grab a last minute ticket to some random destination. I never have had to but always ready just in case. Airlines can be strict about it. Immigration doesn't care usually.

      I have a friend in South Africa, she was with Phelps on Shark Week. Can't wait to go there.
      I have dove Cozumel 29 times. lol I will be getting on a liveaboard out of Costa Rica on November the 4th.
      I can't wait to travel permanently, I retire in 17 months at the age of 56. I am thinking of setting up base in Thailand, maybe Hua Hin, or maybe Phuket. You may have better ideas. lol
      Hopefully $4 to 5k a month will be enough to do the diving, and traveling I want to do.

      +Scuba Tom with 4-5k a month in Thailand you can live anywhere you want and pretty much do anything. Lol. Phuket is a great place to base yourself for diving. Also look into Krabi. My pleasure. Any help you need let me know. I have several diving friends here.

    • @scubatom8232
      @scubatom8232 7 лет назад +1

      I have looked at Krabi. For travel I would like to be close to an International airport. So many great places in the world. I love people of every race.

    • @Minoritynomad
      @Minoritynomad  7 лет назад

      Krabi has an international airport also. Most Asian destinations are under $100 with Japan and South Korea being around $150. Phuket is slightly better to Europe though. Comparable to Asian countries. In the end, both places put you in a similar position. Best bet is to connect in Bangkok with is a $25 flight that takes hour and a half tops from Krabi or Phuket.
      When choosing between Krabi and Phuket I tell people the biggest difference is the quality of life. Phuket is more touristic by far. Krabi is more sleepy beach town vibe.

    Thailand is ok, but some people are scammers. Of course, you can live in a great hotel in Bangkok with 25 dollars per night. Food is good anywhere in South-Asia, in some places even a lot cheaper. For many of us, Vietnam looks much better (the girls are much, much better). But regarding beaches, I agree with Thailand. Haha, Colombia is a victim of some gorgeous latino girls. Did you visit Vietnam or Mexico?
