- In this video Dr. Fahy discusses growth hormone and it benefits in aging. He also covers the safety checks that they performed after the participants started with the protocol. In particular they saw reduced markers of cancer and cancer risk.
Dr. Greg Fahy is a world renowned cryobiologist and is also the chief science officer, and co-founder, of Intervene Immune, a company which pioneers treatments for thymus regeneration and age-related immune system decline. Dr. Fahy Designed and led the pilot TRIIM trial which first time showing both thymus rejuvenation and reversal of human epigenetic age. He is now running the follow up phase II trial TRIIM-X with the aim of confirming and extending the results.

Dr. Gregory Fahy Interview Series

Thanks Richard. So.....I wonder if the basal levels of GH and IGF-1 are increased or if it's a spike following the ingestion of supplements. An inrease in basal levels seems to counter aging studies. Fasting and exercise cause transient large increases in GH. This might be why in a recent study it was found that older long term cyclists had preserbed thymic function, and therefore preserved immune function. Would be interesting to know whether starting a vigorous execise program in later middle age would cause reversal of thymic involution anywhere near the degree Dr. Fahy saw with his study. Also, wonder if Lymph/mono ratio could be used as a proxy for thymic health. If so, that would be easy to track on routine blood testing, which I've started doing.
very interesting.
The missed point in ALL fasting approach, by the other way, is sarcopenia.
Age increases sarcopenia.
Fasting increases sarcopenia.
So, if we use fasting as anti-againand WE DON'T PROGRAM a rebuiling phase, we are not going anywhere.
This interview pack of info I like to to know. Reverse thymus seems have so many good effects on overall health and reducing cancer risk as well.
Thank you for bringing this topic out, hope Dr. Fahy measure NAD level this time. It will be fascinating to see regenerating thymus will have benefits on lowering CD38 and increaseing NAD level.
Great series of logivity latest news very useful highly appreciated thanks a lot RICHARD
Thanks for bringing this information to us.
Thank you for a great video
Hi Helene, thank you for your comment, glad you like the content.
Good interview!
Truly incredible results! Thanks to Dr. Fahy!!!
Great interview and Dr. Fahy is a brilliant scientist, no doubt.
Richard, I have cut out dairy from my diet in the hope that the reduction in growth hormone in dairy will lower PSA.
This has been a fascinating conversation
In today's news: Blessing Okagbare was just suspended from the Olympics when human growth hormone was found in her "sample."
I hope Fahy will contend with NAD ratio assay kits. These are widely available, easy to use and NAD+/NADH ratios are similarly indicative to lym/mono ratios. The only extra requirement is that the time of measurement should be consistent, preferably earlier in the day.
Does Dr Fahy himself take his drug cocktail? I would have to say he looks allot younger than 71 yrs old..
he does
@@thenewapollo "he does" what? Take his drug cocktail himself or looks younger than 71?
@@ZeyphodZeyphod Both my friend. He mentioned that he wanted to take advantage of the good stuff after the first trial.
If memory serves me correctly he also tried something very similar to his current drug cocktail about 20 or 30 years ago on himself an felt he had positive results. Again, from memory, I believe he said that he did regenerate his thymus from the self-experimentation years ago. There was no epigenetic test to measure aging back then. In TRIIM one he did not find significant effects on Aging until about the nIne months so it is possible he may be a little ahead of everyone else at thymus regeneration.... the implications of his comments and researches staggering. In just one area just think of all the people that are dying of prostate cancer when it appears that a two or three-week course of his drug cocktail might head off this horrible disease very early when the PSA starts going up. There are many other areas that this research showing promise in.

Thank you Richard. I find this quite interesting. It also appears that your hair is getting darker as well. 👍🏻
I think Richards hair is also getting darker
@modernhealthspan How many teams/programs are there working on reversing aging and seeing some progress?
From Jerry, l have noticed my hair is getting darker I put this
S down to resveratrol
I want to start GROWTH hormones asap. Where I can find doctor in US who can put me on these . Thanks
I saw a typo somewhere: should be "somatotropin".
@4:58
Can't you just create a new thymus in the lab using your own cells.
