My femur jabbed up into my pelvis, I believe I had a transverse fracture. I was in traction for 24 hours. Then I had the surgery for hip and pelvis. I have a scar that had 32 staples. I have a plate with 9 screws in my pelvis and after almost 3 years total hip replacement. A month after MVA when I got to see my orthopedic doctor in my home state, he found fractures (closed) of sacrum, coccyx and damage to L-3,4,5. That was in 2011. I still have the back issues and my right hip is wearing very thin from taking all the weight of my left side
