Always wanted to play as a kid and never got too, I'm having a BLAST so far I love the individuality and uniqueness of the townies and how creative I actually find myself becoming
This was my childhood! I played every game in the series, mysims agents, kingdoms, party, racing, skyheroes, you name it. It's been super nice playing both of these for the first time again.
Fun video. I didn't play these games when they initially released, but as a former Sims addict was eager to give them a shot. I put a dozen or so hours into the first game before hopping into the second, and have to say the second is much more fun for me. I feel like the first game is one I'll hop into whenever I want to do some chill creative crafting, but the second has more variety and a light puzzle solving aspect, as well as a better plot. They really are quite different. I don't regret having both, but definitely recommend people not pre-judge the second game based on the first (or vice versa). Try them both, and see which fits you better.
I love this game because you get to choose how complex you want to play it. You can get really creative with builds and furniture (you don't have to stick to the blueprints) and decorate all the houses in your town to max an interest, but you don't have to. Some days I might work on designing new furniture, but other times I just want to fish and have picnics with the villagers. The controls took a while to get used to, but they're better than the wii for sure.
I never played this, I believe the first sims I ever played was on pc back in 2000. This goes to show to never judge a game by it cover! Huge fan of your content! I hope you have a great Thanksgiving. Thank you for covering this gameplay. I'm definitely buying the physical.
The left stick changes the size of the feature. I loved this game on my DS, but the controls don’t feel very intuitive (imo) on the Switch. It’s been more fun watching other players build.
I was never able to play the wii version growing up so here's my chance. Also the mistake you made with the town makes the mayor sound self centered. "Yes, welcome to MY town." "Did i tell you about how much i put into MY town" "are you getting the hint yet that this town is MINE?!"
I like everything else but yeah the controls are definitely taking some getting used too 😫. Ecpecially sense they are different in my sims kingdom. I hope they change it with a new update building bugs tf out of me
I’m exited to get this game one day 😊 Definitely waiting for it to be on sale lol my general rule for myself buying a game is it needs to be on sale for $5.99 or less and this personally helps me not to be buying games left and right when I have no money 😅 I once bought a $30 game for just $2 all because I waited for the sales 😂 I focus more on the ones that say 80% off those are the best sales! Plus if it’s a game I end up not liking I have no problem deleting it because I would have only spent $5 or less lol
I bought animal crossing full price and it explained how to do NOTHING At least this game gives directions And speak for yourself pat, i made a balcony on my house
Did you buy the new My Sims Cozy Bundle!? SUBSCRIBE for more!

the fact theres more voices than skin tones is crazy
Absolutely
Not that surprising tbh
Oh. Is it not a “safe space” for you?
Not really. What matters is the range that's covered, not that they have 50 options to choose from. 🙄
@@vanyadollythis is just a rerelease of a game from 2007. Chill out
I played this when I was younger and want it but totally agree, not paying $40 when I only want this game
Omg this is such a core memory. Thank you!

Hi Target buddy! One can’t wait to download and play along and two can you look into the chicken journey game? 😊
Cute game. I can't justify it right now, but maybe in the future. It looks like it has pro controller support, maybe that's easier🎃

It's an EA game, it's destined to be INFESTED with DLC with a barebones game.
💀 I doubt that will gappen
It's an old kids franchise, from the early 2000s, it's just been remastered. There's no DLC.
